Last trip of the year. For those who care about such things (like me!), I ended the year with 439 fish in the boat over 25 trips. 341 Largemouth, 94 Smallmouth, and 4 Walleye in 173.5 hours of fishing for an average of 17.5 fish/trip and 2.5 fish/hr. Not a bad year.
I use fishswami to track my catches, and have since 2011. The app snaps the weather and gps location of every fish I catch. I add species, size, lure/color and can go back and query the logs for different criteria. It’s a fly fishing app, but I haven’t found another that keeps track of the info that I want.
I may be upgrading the Hero7 next year since I had such a good time recording and editing my videos this year. I still don’t plan on turning it into a fishing show, but we’ll see what happens next year. I need about 945 more subscribers and a ton of views to start monetizing, so for now UA-cam is unlimited, free, online storage for my videos.
