Noosa Topwater GTs and Bass | Fishing noosa river and everglades
I really should have filmed more this trip, but I still got a few on camera. I hope you enjoy. I tried a more simple video style this time, let me know what you think! Check out my instagram @Saltyy_outdoors where I post all the fish I catch on my story.

Hey guys I really hope you enjoy this video. I had a lot of fun filming it. This Noosa trip I rarely had the camera on, and didn't record 90% of the fish I caught, but I still had enough footage to string this together. Please like and subscribe :)

Hey guys these are some clips from a recent fishing holiday up at the Noosa river flicking swim prawns. I caught some sick new species and met some cool locals. I mainly used the 3 inch whitespot and jelly swim prawns with a 3/8 oz harpax jig head. Enjoy.

Hey im aware this is an old video but i was just wondering what sounder that is?
Wow where is that spot ? Thanks
Video’s a little short dude. As a Sunny Coast resident I would’ve loved to have seen a little more of what happened mate.
Damn… I fish these places all of the time (I live in Nambour which is about 20-25km away from here) and I’ve never seen golden fish like that. Caught some nice stuff from the spit though. Got some squid a month or so back and some bonito a month or so before that. Sunny Coast fishing is great, if you know where to go. Thanks for showing my home some love dude 🤘
whats the best lures or types of lures i should use got a trip coming up and got nothing, thanks in advance
Not a pike we are in aus man
@@joeware3648 sorry bud, they’re pike. Yellow fin or long fin pike.
bruther u got a new reel yet?
What lures where you using to catch the bluefin
so long ago but i think little berkley nemasis
@@saltyoutdoors534 thanks
Hey what leader knot do you tie? cheers
Briggsy's fg knot - look it up on yt
What’s your rod , line and reel setup..
daiwa aird combo 2500 reel, 2-4kg rod with 10lb kairiki 8x braid, 16lb fluro leader with 100mm sliper dog
Good video bro, looking forward to the next Everglades trip 🤙 those smashups are insane 😮

Good stuff Ben, can't wait till you come back up! 😎
Thanks heaps mate, I'm looking forward too.
Awesome, where is that at 7:56?? amazing. Subscribed.
Near Shute boat ramp, you’ll see it.
Amazing please keep up the awesome content. Dream come true.@@saltyoutdoors534
Good stuff bloke, smashed them
thanks mate
How did you guys get on that trawler wharf? Aren't they closed to the public?
They weren't closed 2 years ago when this was filmed mate.
Good job on the jacks and jewie bro, would've been epic to get that tailing barra. I think that the swimminnow at 9:35 is tupong. also what water depth were you fishing for the jacks and with what jigheads? cheers
Thanks mate. The bigger jack was on a 1/6 1/0 tt headlocks I believe. 1/4 felt too heavy, and I couldn't cast 1/8 as far as I wanted. With jewies, despite what everyone else thinks, I don't think weight matters too much. That jack was weird, I would have caught it in half a meter ish of water. But generally at that spot 1.5-2m is good.
Good video mate, wish i had this luck when fishing up there 😂
Cheers mate
@@saltyoutdoors534 shame u couldn’t get up the Everglades with us
@@HSFishin next time hey
GREAT VID
Thanks mate, I appreciate it.
Totally Wild.👏👏👏👏👏
Congrats on your Jews , got a few packets of Holt prawns last year, plan to use them in a few weeks.🧐
Good luck!
Hey mate is that a water snake electric motor, was thinking of getting one what do u think of it?
Yeah sure is. Its the ambush model I believe. I can summarise my experience with it pretty easily. It does everything you imagine it doing, but just a little slower. It is made very tough, and will likely last a while. Overall, I'm extremely happy with it, and it has been the reason for many fish captures. I reckon I might make a review of my sounder and the watersnake. The watersnake is the cheapest bow mount electric motor on the market, and the sounder is the cheapest side-scan capable unit on the market. To summarise my gibberish, yes it is good, and it will double your fishing capability.
@@saltyoutdoors534 thanks mate and what’s the sounder u have?
@@harrygould7417 Garmin striker vivid 7sv
@@saltyoutdoors534 awesome mate cheers but yeh a review video on both would be so mint
@@harrygould7417 ill do it these school holidays.

good luck mate, cheers for the comment.
Good video bro, nice fish. Been trying to get some jack in the Maroochy river but had no luck yet. Good stuff
thanks mate
Nice sunrise 😊 Love your fishing 😀
thanks heaps mate!
Whoevers talking sounds like an absolute tool. Straight out of the toolbox champ.
What boat ramp did you launch at?
We actually had an apartment near the water for a few days, so I kept the tinny on the beach. This vid was filmed over a few days. But I launched at the beginning of the trip at the main boat ramp next to the boathouse.
what lure did you catch the talior on
which tailor? It was either the holt prawn 3" or bait junkie 3.2" minnow. All 1/4 oz jig heads. edit: it could have been the squidgy wriggler 75mm
Nice Barra!
Thanks man, I wish I could have landed it.
Mitsubishi and the first place in a lot to pick me know what time tuah resueoe the other hand to the other side and the 😢❤
pardon?????
amazing video!
What rod and reel is this brother?
Daiwa luxel combo. Its cheap but good, and has lasted me nearly 2 years. Gonna replace it soon though. The reel holds a 150m of 8lb.
Nice vid
Nice vid lad
