There is super fine glitter you can get that’s light enough to stay suspended. OR! I’ve seen people say they mix a tiny bit of Elmer’s glue in with their resin to keep glitter suspended

I sell these for like 20$

Most of them are pretty well constructed and durable. But over a long enough period of time the wear out and need replacing. Especially anything with a small opening that I really need to manhandle or use my nails to get into.

I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count.

Short answer. Yes. Long answer. No. Resin isn’t food safe. So anything that gets heated up, scraped, banged around, etc, could scrape off shards of resin into whatever your heating up, which then gives off bad fumes and bad taste, which ruins the experience and can damage your lungs. So CAN I make bongs or bowls out of resin? Yes. But they would be purely decorative. Not functional.

@@ravn606this is just one opinion, obviously. If I came across the product as is in a store I would pick it up think "oh this is so smart" and I might buy it on impulse if price were low as is I think I will probably lose it pretty quickly. If it could also mark my place in the book, in doing so stay with the book, well this cool little thing just became even more useful and less likely to get lost. Maybe also figure out a way to incorporate a logo and company name or patent number or patent pending into the molds. Good ideas get copied and somebody will copy you and undercut you eventually.

Considering I made these with a premade mold I got from temu I think it’s a bit late to patent. But I might mess around with finding a way to incorporate a bookmark. Keep your eyes peeled.
