Wow oh Wow. I have had the pleasure seeing Love Song and later Chuck Girard solo a number of times during the 70s, 80s and 90s. This has been so much fun to watch!

Annie is still so beautiful inside & out at age 77! My husband & I were youth pastor/associate pastor on Queen Anne Hill, Seattle from 1984 to 1987 at the same time my husband was still in Bible School at Northwest & I ran the Snack Shack. We were so blessed to hear them & be ministered to by them at the arena. We were as poor as church mice, but we got to go because we could scounge together $2 each for tickets sold at the Bible Book Store.❤❤❤ They blessed us so much!!! Thank you!❤❤❤

So nice to hear this and Matthew's interview, and get an understanding of who they are. What a cool story of this family, and so great what our Lord and King did through them, without them realizing the full impact they would have on all of us. I remember seeing them once in Rockford, IL, early 1980's, at First Assembly, led by pastor Ernie Moen. Great job with the interview Brian and production team.

Just listened to this great interview - and Annie - retiring is hard but always know that God has given all of us such a gift with you and your brother!! I start singing with you when I am heart broken - happy - scared and sad - your songs have been such a comfort to all of us - and I would also love to hear you one day in the church I go to in Ct - that you can be comforted and also rejuvenated with song - great interview

Ohhhh my heart broke!!!! When i heard that Buck was previously married to someone else....Jesus calls Re- Marriage if your first spouse is still living ..ADULTERY!! In Matthew 5:32, 19:9, Mark 10:11-12, Luke 16:18...😮

2nd Chapter of Acts came to my high school my senior year and sang out in the outdoor plaza at lunch. They were the most kind and humble people I’d ever met. Their harmonies were so tight and powerful. One of my favorite Christian groups ever.

The Heart, the love, tenderness. God gave to you the heart that hurts and it is beautiful. We become The Lord in our pain, we feel Him. I am broken, easily and I really don't know anyone who has been through the pain/crap I've seen, been a part of, been the whole of. I guess that is how we have an answer for any man. We all are the same, just in different packages. We are to be real. How do we want to be remembered, 'Going up". "I seen Him go up!" Annie if I had the money, I'd pay a all expense plus for you to come to Ohio, the three of you and I'd have a back up band here practiced up and readied in prayer for a movement that only HE can bring..

It sure seemed like this group believed what they sang about. So different from today’s Christians who have replaced faith with politics and happily bow down to a corrupt, orange false prophet. 😖

In my opinion no group in modern Christianity has had more of a powerful anointing to worship and to lead the body into worship than the Second Chapter of Acts. So pure and from the heart giving all of the glory to Jesus. They are such a genuine followers of Jesus and yet they are also so "real". You've made our heavenly Father so proud Annie Herring.

I'll never forget going to see Baary McGuire at this Assembly of God church in Pomona, CA and he had these AMAZING back up singers called The 2nd Chapter of Acts: I went back to my church telling my pastor we had to get them at our church and they were amazing. Still worshipping Jesus with them to this day!

I've listened to very few interviews where you just feel the presence of the Holy Spirit oozing out of someone with EVERY word they say. I don't say that lightly...just seems reflect His heart. (and it is so fascinating to hear someone who's music has helped formed by life. As a vocalist, her words on singing and worship as a natural, constant part of life resonates with my Spirit.) :)

Matt 5:32; 19:4-11; Mark 10: 2-12; Luke 16:18; 1 Cor 7:10, 11, 39 ; Rom 7:2,3. Jesus' Words supercede any pastor's counsel. It is continuous present tense adultery to divorce and remarry.

Dear Annie, it seems I lived a world away from you and your gifted family but we were also raised catholic and beautiful renaissance and medieval catholic music has illuminated my life as a medievalist scholar! I grew up in La Jolla California in the money-obsessed 1980s, and we sang “mansion builder” as part of an acapella vocal competition. It’s been forty plus years, and I still remember thinking how very very beautiful your song was - North Dakota to Sacramento (I was in SoCal and went to university in NoCal!). I wasn’t sure about this but I was wondering if your family had any Sioux heritage from the Dakotas?! You have such beautiful facial features - all of you- and it made me wonder. Thank you, truly, for the gift you gave me - a kid in California you never knew - who cried with joy at the beauty of your voices and through your voices witnessed your shining diamond souls!

In the last story....(chicken casserole),you would have needed a 50 gallon pot to produce that amount of food....trust me, I did the math. This stuff is real, all you need is a "contrite heart and broken spirit and tremble at His Word". Faith<~~~I have seen it many times, right at the end, God moves!

You have to realize she may mean well but her love of god is based on illusion.. She is pretty and very talented, she would include think god is loving because life is easy for a pretty woman, women's value is the outside. I know from experience that god doesn't value women and he doesn't care .. god is a abuser and hates humanity .. unfortunately Christianity does nothing to help the actually hurting .. god doesn't care

My mother played 2cd Chapter of Acts when I was a little girl. When I came to the Lord at 17 it was my first "go to" music, and it felt like home. Now my children have grown up with 2cd Chapter of Acts, and it will be a part of their good memories too. Thankyou Annie for your faithfulness...just how many have been healed thru your testimony, and lyrics I'm sure is countless.
