The last films that I recall have a blu-ray dvd combo pack are the Garfield movie and inside out 2 and borderlands Universal stopped making blu-ray dvd combo packs this year with there last one being king fu panda 4 I believe and paramount is only making 4k Blu-ray combo packs with no standalone blu-ray with transformers one being there first one and Warner bros stopped making blu-ray dvd combo packs and even 4k blu-ray combo packs back in 2023 and Sony is already stopping making blu-ray dvd combo packs on most of there films and Disney stopped making blu-ray dvd combo packs for there live action films years ago since that is when they started to get cheap The only studios that I believe are still making Blu-ray dvd combo packs are lionsgate and Disney with there animated films only I so honestly shocked that there wasn’t a standalone blu-ray dvd combo pack for despicable me 4 but that didn’t bother me since I get the 4k Blu-ray combo packs If companies are starting to do this than more people are going to buy the 4k Blu-ray combo packs instead because it is only like $5 more and it takes the same amount of shelf space and than like in 10 years from now most companies might stop making 4k Blu-ray combo packs

LG is the one that stopped making player's because they woke up and said said Sony and Panasonic makes better player's they still make player's look in to it my friend

Dude what the hell are you on about? We have more movies being put on disc that were never even released to the public! Do you not pay attention? Physical media is most definitely not dying.
@@ronthorn3 I know that, shout select has something to do with releasing forgotten movies (or at least underrated) and I actually bought one of them, into the night, pretty sure you've heard about it, but physical media is taking a hit since it isn't as mass produced as before, that's where it's losing strength, and I wish it was the other way around, but we're in a world where most people say that they use Netflix or whatever platform instead of buying or using a physical copy

I liked getting both because BluRay was for at home and DVD for when I'm out. Could watch on portable DVD players or on a computer, when a Blu Ray player isn't around
Hey yeah! That's also a good idea, never thought of that, kinda went through something similar , sort of, I didn't have a bluray player at first, and my first bluray was Jurassic world, I used the DVD to watch it, so yeah that's a nice way to put it.
Thankfully a good amount of 4K releases are dual packed though that is also seemingly going away soon.
Some of them are, but some of the 4k releases only have the 4k disk.
@@TheRightAngleGamer yep, although looks like those are the priority right now, 4k combo packs, so those are gonna be here for a while
@@TheHipisterDeer also true, same goes with blurays, some of them are just meant to be a single disc edition, but the combo packs were the ones that made your eyes glow, well at least for me lol

Hey man, I just received a comment on my latest video from one of your fans who was pretty passionate about supporting you. Looks like we both made videos around the same topic, im watching your video in real time and you’ve actually mentioned a lot of things I’ve even missed in my video lol. I think your commentary is fantastic (so far) and I’m definitely subscribing to your channel! It’s a whole 21 minute video on this movie and yet I had absolutely no idea that the movie was banned lmao. That’s insane, I don’t know if it was ban worthy but it’s definitely too inappropriate for the kids that Nickelodeon was marketing towards. Apparently Nickelodeon advertised this movie on the teenage mutant ninja turtles 2012 cartoon dvd which is so wild to me lol. And April being implied to have slept with the guy and then wear his clothes as she takes the walk of shame was insane for even a pg-13 movie. A high schooler taking the walk of shame is crazy lol, anyways you did an amazing job on your video! Great work!!

Honestly Romulus was such a blast, I really enjoyed it. Was it perfect? No, but it was a hell of a lot closer than Covenant was. Also if you like gory horror do NOT sleep on Terrifier 3.

Orion/Optimus, Megatron/D-16 being friends before the war is a very old lore element. :) This story element was introduced at the early 2000's by the IDW transformers comics, which was later used as an inspiration for several future Transformers continuities (Bay movies, Aligned continuity/TFP etc) Since then it became part of the transformers mythos. Yeah I also think seeing this film as a non transformers fan can elevate the experience. As someone who is a fan, I saw Sentinel being a traitor for a mile away (since this happened in a lots of previous TF stories). XD But as a long time fan I felt this movie was written by fan for fans, it shows incrdible respect to the lore. My mind was blown watching this in the theatre. :)

lol, I guess I enjoyed because I really don't know nothing about this world, so I'm assuming true fans like you found flaws in it, which is also totally valid!
Can I ask why? TF One is actually one of the few recent reboots which shows incredible respect to the source materials. It takes a tons of lore elements/inspiration, story lines etc from several different TF continuities and cretes something new, but familiar. (the Aligned continuity/IDW, and G1 influenced this movie in pretty significant ways; like Megatron's D-16 low caste miner bot origin comes from the IDWcomics/Aligned continuity for ex)
