Hey I know this is old but I have 2 questions. Do you get a full 12" Y-axis length with this setup? I've ordered the parts but I wanted to make sure it does a full 12" on the Y. If not I'll probably build a new enclosure. And do you have the mid-mount motor bracket file? I was planning on designing that myself but I wouldn't mind seeing how you made the bracket too. Also how is it running? Do you have any tips after owning it for a while?
I don't know about this particular build, but if it helps, it is possible to design a 12in y cutting area in the k40. I am currently designing my own gantry, and I should have 12.5inches in the Y direction when I am finished (assuming nothing goes wrong). So you may not have to make a new enclosure, just modify the plotter.
Are you sure it's 12 by 24? More likey 11 by 23!!

Hi I was wondering where you placed your Y-Axis Endstop? I followed the Original K40 12x24 Build but Having issue with homing. Also what you edit on the config.txt file on your cohesion3D board. Thanks!
