Puffins - Wet, Stormy Day at the Burrow 6/28/18

Puffin sidles up to the statue at approx. 3:20 and tries to make friends with the [permanent decoy placed there years ago by the scientists to attract puffins to the area. It was successful and the team decided to leave the decoys as a permanent feature of the Loafing Ledge. At approx 4:08 a razorbill decides to bully the puffins off the ledge.

Parent arrives @ 15:36 with fish. Puffling struggles with stringy tail for several minutes. Parent climbed on rock and blocked view, but the puffling apparently finally swallowed the fish.

Parents stretching legs, puffling does a little flap and shake for us.

Cannot be sure but I think this puffling hatched on 6/24.

Does a little happy dance before tearing it apart.
