    In Montana we leave fire wood ready in the fire pit for the next person … also the bone was from a animal that had died

    You did a great job explaining how you built the box and slides. How did you fasten the box to the vehicle to keep it from tipping when you pulled the slide out with the refrig/cooler on it and to keep it from bouncing around when driving?

    free camping on the Arizona side of Lake mead. Take the Kingman Wash road (its 3 miles long) right down to the water. Haven't had much bug issues there, and you'll likely be greeted by some very friendly burro's also :). We did see on coyote, but he didn't bother anyone and moved along quickly after getting a drink of water in the lake.

    13:43 you guys found the Spring Mountain Youth Camp at the top of the hill! Always odd seeing that up there even as a resident. It's less of a camp though and more of a correctional center for juveniles. The gate was usually open during the day so people could run Angels Peak or the other trails up there. Something must have changed with operations or you were just there at an odd time. Loved this episode though great work, cruise back this way soon lots of epic Jeep adventures down here!😎

    Hi! Looks like a fun stop. On a scale of 1 to 10... How deep was the sand? Looking to take my FJ, but, I'll be solo. Getting stuck isn't on my list. Thanks in advance!

    • @NigelNaughton
      @NigelNaughton 2 роки тому

      Your FJ will make it easily...just lower the pressure on your tires to about 20psi or less but also make sure you have a way to inflate them back up.

    Beautiful build! Thanks so much for the clear instructions. You made it seem manageable even for a person like me who is not very crafty. I'd love to see a "tour" of how you set up your vehicle (or at least kitchen area) as well. I'm attempting to set up my Montero for long roadtrips, and I'm not certain how to organize things. There are a lot of different set ups out there, but most of them seemed geared for camper conversions (which I don't need, since we are planning to camp and not sleep in the car itself).
