    nope. electric cars are a farce. more pollution and destruction on the planet than anything. takes roughly 150,000 km with a gas car just to break even with the making of EV's. then the problem the electric grid cant handle the power needed if everyone converted and the cost of charging them is way more than fuel and the fact they are useless in the cold winter areas

    I honestly think Cadillac should have simply built more Lyriqs and focused on reducing the price of the Lyriq to meet the price of the Optiq. Then they should focus on the VISTIQ (for 3 rows).

  • @PassportBrosBusinessClass

    Looks great. The question is: how easy will it be to sell people an OPTIQ when the XT4 has the Optiq's infotainment display but isn't slave to the public charging infrastructure? The XT4 also has the heated/ventilated and massaging seats. The only thing the Optiq has above the XT4 is Supercruise as optional.

    Love my EV6 Wind AWD with Tech Package. Driving efficiently with the car in ECO mode most of the time. No need for the AWD in heavy rush hour traffic. But when I need the power, hitting Sport mode is oh so fun. Fastest car I've ever owned. Getting about 315-320 miles of range. Much better than the advertised 282 miles. Was getting 305 and then realized my tires were under inflated. If I switch to 18 inch wheels later on in the life of the car, I could get probably 325 or 330.

    Great video, and I’m extremely excited for this truck, but I had to balk at the line that this preserves the Silverado’s iconic silhouette. Those sail panels absolutely ruin it. I still want it but I’d pay even more than it already costs to get the Sierra version without them. If only it were available.

    Ford Fraud Art Hill Ford FRAUD I was impressed with the Ford Mustang Mach -E at the Chicago Auto Show. I am 81 and enjoy a nice car to ride in. I happen to be passing by “Art Hill Ford” 901 W. Lincoln Hwy, Merrillville, Indiana 46410. 219 738 5300. I stopped in. I met salesman Gregory Lottis. We discussed the car. Then I / we test drove it. I was very impressed. I drove in with a Toyota Prius very good shape. We talked price Gregory offered me a nice with my trade in out the door price. The he enhanced the deal by telling me Ford will give me “Three years of FREE charging at network locations. He even held up his hand with three fingers showing. Then he also said Ford has a “0” interest loan for 3 years. I excepted the offer. I signed all the documents. Then Gregory asked me for a credit card. I questioned that. He said to set up the load appellation. The needed a credit rating. I have an excellent credit rating. I handed him my Discover Card. He inputted into the system. I was excepted for the “0” interest loan. Then Gregory did something I objected to. He said he opened a “Gmail” account for me. I strongly protested. He said, “it is done”. Gregory asked me for my cell phone. I said I do not have a cell phone. He said I needed a cell phone to have access to the charging stations. The cell phone will also show me the charging stations in network. I stated well the sales is off. I do not want a cell phone. I have a landline phone at home and that is all in needed. Gregory retrieved an old cellphone of his. He said I can use it but can not make any calls on it. I excepted it. He showed me the “Ford network appl”. He explained how to use it when charging my new Ford Mustang Mach - E. After a couple of charges of my car. Gregory called and told me I needed to get my own smartphone. I soon will not be able to use his. I ordered a smartphone at $32.00 a month. I told Gregory I would not have purchased the car for that very reason. I needed to bring the phone to Gregory to set up the “Ford appl”. He did. Then he said the next time I needed to charge my car. I needed to tap the phone to the charging station. It will recognize it and charge my car. After several charges. I received my Discover card. My credit card was charged for every in network charge. I called Gregory. He said I needed to come in with my phone and he will find out why I am being charged. I demanded to talk to the manager. Manager Steven Bukvich presented himself to me. I explained about not getting the three years of FREE charging at the in network charges. Steven looked on his computer. He said my information was incorrect. I must have inputted something wrong. I told him Gregory inputted 100% of my information. Steven reinsured me that he would correct everything now. I would receive the three year FREE charges. Charges were still being downloaded to my Discover card. Then Monday MAY 6. Steven left me a message on my answering machine to come in again. Sunday night I E-Mailed Steven, I have several doctor appointments. Call me (home phone) before 8:45 AM. I got to Art Hill about 10:00 AM. I asked for Steven. I was told he is in a meeting. He will not be available until after 1:PM. I got angry I demanded to speak to Steven Bukvich. Steven told me he “E-mail” me not to come in. Steven noticed I was wearing a video camera. He demanded I shut it off. I said NO. I need documentation that he promised me “THREE Years” free charges. He again told me I screwed up. He needed to straighten things out. He ask me to give him another week. WE had about an hour of heated load discussion. He said I mad very stupid mistakes. He needed to correct them. Then Gregory entered the heated discussion. Steven asked me to give him another week. Then he asked me to send him copies of the discover card statements. I E-mail all the statements. Steven Bukvich called me he asked me to come in. He said he has an expert Armon Peloza. He will correct the errors and I will get my Three years of FREE charge. I met Armon Peloza. Armon asked me to open my Discover card statements. I did. He just made a printout of the statements. He said Steven did not receive them. Now me made sure Steven got the statements. I made about ten 70 mile round trips to Art Hill. To date. NO FREE charges.

      Why? The average daily mileage usage in the USA is under 100mi they are already giving you nearly 3 times that amount in range. Also, DC fast charging is something like 0%-80% in an hour. Half that if you charge at 20%. To me, that is absolutely fine for the vast majority of shoppers.

    GM should have launched this under Buick or Cadilac brands cause shelling out $45K for a GM car is a tough sell! Specially if the fit and finish is like 2023 Chevy BOLT I saw few months back! GM might have better success with their entry level model of this car but not if the out-the-door price of a GM EV is above $50k!

    • @SweetLou0523
      @SweetLou0523 3 місяці тому

      The fit and finish is leagues better than a bolt. Like, not even the same category. And the price is not just for an SUV it's for an EV SUV which makes it cheap, even cheaper still since the base model is under $30k with rebate. Not sure what you are expecting for that price but it's literally in the same price range as a full trim Trax which is a much crappier SUV. The equinox ev is gonna be an absolute sales monster.

      @SweetLou0523 3 місяці тому

      The base model is $27,000 after rebate. For an SUV. $27,000. That's literally cheap as hell especially given everything you get with it, and that's not even factoring in that it's also an EV SUV starting at $27,000. Yall goobers that are living in 1989 expecting an SUV to be $18,000 fully loaded are braindead.

    Hottest because it will go up in flames.....lol! I think mild hybrids are the way to go until battery tech advances! By "mild" i mean at least 30kw and at least 150nm-200nm of torque boost. This mild hybrid should boost overall power and save fuel over the non-hybrid engine. Im not adding all those electrical systems for less than 30kw/200nm of boost. Whats the point?! Im paying more money, over the non-hybrid model for more power, albeit it will just be a couple of temporary boosts that would be available because of the small mild-hybrid battery size.

    The biggest drawack to a Tesla still, is the outrageous expense for its maintenance, let alone repairs, (even buying one for 15,000 used isn't a bargain when you need simple repairs that can easily be double of what you'de expect in a ICE CAR)
