Ob du einen Schnellspanner hast oder nicht, ist eigentlich wurscht. Wie du in dem Video siehst, ist das Schloss über dem Schutzblech montiert und das Speichenschloss hängt ja zwischen den Speichen, also bringt es keinem Dieb etwas, das Hinterrad auszubauen. Hindernis 1- Schoss hängt am Rahmen des Fahrrads, Hindernis 2, auch wenn ein Dieb die Befestigung mit einem Seitenschneider lösen würde - wäre das Schloss immer noch dran.

warum schrauben oder knacken??? ab in Van/Bus und in ruhigen Ort kann man sich zeit beim knacken lassen. ist ja nicht am Laterne angeschlossen oder so.

@@shvab55 , es gibt eine lange, textil ummantelte Kette dazu, die sich um Bäume, Laternenpfähle oder ähnliches schlingen lässt und am Schloss eingesteckt und mit verriegelt wird.

Hi SuperMike, actually that was a problem on the first version of the lock. Our current models have a spoke avoidance system so this won't happen.

@@ILOCKIT-bike Thank you, but the video still show the bike owner just walking away. Even with your spoke avoidance system the wheel won’t move and so the bike remains unlocked unless you wait there as it locks and correct any problems. Further just only locking the back wheel just won’t do, even with built in alarm know body will take any notice of someone simply walking off with the bike, who takes notice of a car alarm. There is no way I would trust my £3k bike to that level of security. Back to the drawing board please.

@@SuperDuperSuperMike With the new system the wheel do not have to move, I LOCK IT does the job and can move itself a few millimeter to lock.

Our DSA (Dynamic Spoke Avoidance) System tilts the whole lock if the Pin contacts a spoke. The pin can then slide past to the closed position. Our newest Model I LOCK IT GPS has a built in GSM/GPS Module which allows a live-tracking of the bicycle in case of theft. The Alarm is sent directly to your smartphone via GSM and the Tracking is free for the first two years. You can increase security of any I LOCK IT Model by adding the Plug-in cable or the Plug in Chain. With that said, stay tuned, we have bigger and better things coming in the future :)

I thought it looked good also until you pointed out some huge flaws. I notice that another comment is about the fact it could lock the bike while riding which is very scary indeed! Also if it did randomly unlock then your bike security is non-existent. It may require further development on design and compatibility issues.

Hi Wundawauzi, this scenario will not happen, because we include a security system to avoid locking while riding, even if you push the button for locking it will not allow you to lock. Best from the I LOCK IT Team

@@2SUB-TV_space Hi Valentyn, there is no case known and we got no user feedback to that. Furthermore our whole Team is using their I LOCK IT daily and had for years no problems. Every I LOCK IT gets through a documented quality check to prevent failure.

Hey, thanks for your question! The battery in I LOCK IT+ lasts between 6 and 9 months (depending on usage) after a full charge. Fully Charging the battery from zero % takes anywhere between 4 and 6 hours, we recommend charging the battery when a minimum of 20% is reached, you can see the charge status in the app and the lock will notify you if the battery is getting low.
