I had a knee replacement the next day the hospital dropped me breaking my femur. I am almost 3 months post op, and my thigh is still 5 times bigger, and my calf is huge. My skin on that leg is so sensitive nothing can touch it. This pain is unbearable

I have been 9 months post surgery, good range of motion, did all the exercises and therapy but still struggled with swelling above my knee. My surgeon act’s surprised that I have this swelling and now says I could have it for 3 years or more. He mentioned nothing about the tourniquet being the problem but after stumbling across a video yesterday and this one today, I am convinced that this is my problem. Surely he knows this but is not mentioning it to me.

20 years ago I had a toe joint replacement done and the Tourniquet was on my leg for 90 minutes, IT IS PAINFUL AT THE ONE HOUR POINT AND AFTER THAT, WELL I WAS PRAYING FOR A QUICK END TO THE OP! There's obvoiusly more bleeding to be dealt with and the surgeon can see what he is doing using one. I have a knee replacement coming up later in 2022 so I will be having words about it.

Just had a tkr on the 27th of April. I asked why my thigh was so tight and painful and they said it was because of the tourniquet. I had no idea one was being used. My leg is only just now feeling better, but the swelling is severe and I'm on day 9 post op.

Great idea - Looks like your area is on the ball. May I suggest you look into bone glue - Europe uses it more than US better results and much less down time for the patient. Patient is at work after 3 days. Less pain for all!!

I agree. I had a bilateral and the pain from the tourniquets was terrible for well over a week.

Hi, i'm 54yrs. Female i have foot drop and hammer toe for 6 yrs now it's really hard for me to walk for s period of time i have to sitdown and rest what can i do?

I just had a knee replacement last week and they had the Tourniquet on for over 2-1/2 hrs. My thigh is what is really killing me. I have almost zero pain in my knee, but my thigh has pain that is off the charts.

I performed a 5k today with no issues in any way; which is just extraordinary considering a couple of weeks ago I could barely take a walk. I`ll definitely be suggest plantar fasciitis treatment “Sαnzοkα Mula” (Google it) to all my jogging mates, try it yourself!

what about hammer toes under the feet and im walking on it
