Virginia Canyon Bike Park | Idaho Springs | Drop Shaft

I am excited to say that Virginia Mountain Bike Park has been the best free bike park that I've been to so far. You definitely have to work for the run so get ready for a 4 mile uphill trail to the very top, but man is it worth it! They do allow class 1 E-Bikes at this bike park so if you have one you're in luck. Drop Shaft is a super fun trail and to be honest it definitely feels like a resort...

Finally got Part 2 of Streamboat Bike Park posted!! Such a fun time there and amazing trails overall. Was able to run in to a Black Bear hitting a blue run so you know it's gotta be good. There were a few more blue trails that didn't make it onto the video but this video includes Rustlers Ridge and HuckleBerry. Both fun and have great options and jumps. Hope you all enjoy the footage and can't ...

Finally made my way to SteamBoat bike park and it was very worth the trip. Not only is the bike park amazing but the city is fun to travel and has a lot of hiking as well. I will have to say the largest drop Ive hit so far is probably going to be at Steamboat on Rawhide. The trails overall are a blast but my favorite here has got to be Buckin Bronc, such a fun and flow run. Also as mentioned I ...

Had some very highs and lows at Crested Butte Bike park. Overall the bike park is extremely fun and has a lot of huge features to challenge you. Not only is the bike park fun to ride but the scenery is absolutely nuts!!! My video does include a crash on Avery, was doing a test run before the timed competition but unfortunately ended the run with going over the bar. I messed up both wrist (sprai...

Finally I'm able to put together part two. This videos intro was super fun to m make and is one of my favorites so far. These blue trails at Trestle are incredibly fun and honestly can spend multiple days riding them. As I said I would have to say that Spicy Chicken is one of my favorite Blue/Black jump lines. Let me know which blue trail is your favorite at Trestle Bike Park. I hope you enjoy ...

Cozumel Mexico is a trip for my wife and I to remember. Absolutely a beautiful little island to visit. We were able to travel the entire island with a mopped we rented. We stayed at the Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa which was very nice and our Honeymoon Suite breathe taking. Also was able to do some Scuba diving and saw some crazy sea creatures. Then went to the main island a...

Was able to make my way back to Trestle Bike Park in Winter park Colorado. One thing that I changed this time around and would love some feedback on is the Chin mount setup, I've had it for a while but finally decided to use it. It's alway such a blast at Trestle, one of my favorite runs this time around was the Double Black Diamond Trestle Downhill. It also pretty awesome that they were gettin...

Nice videos! How do you like the Fury? Any issues with it? Just picked one up, but I probably can't ride it until bike parks open. Deals on this bike are insane right now.
@@stephenv.525 Yea it’s pretty crazy the Prices of GT bike are now. The fury is an amazing bike man. You are going to have too much fun with it. The only thing really is gotta get the forks and coil dialed in.
Sick content man.
@@klinkster19 thanks man I definitely appreciate it!!
mines coming in on monday
Very nice. I have a GT Fury also. May I ask are you riding a M, L, or XL frame? And is it a 500lb coil? May I ask your weight? I'm trying to dial mine in. Finally, what GoPro are you using? Is the Hero 13? I've hit the last drop on Rawhide. Probably the biggest one I've gone off. 🤘
@@tonyprete.colorado I went with the size large, 500 coil, I way 175, and the GoPro 12. All good questions
@@TheVozChannel Thank-you, very helpful. I'm on a large, and downsized to the 500 coil, and I'm the same weight as you. It's good to know someone else is set up like mine. I just bought the GP13, can't wait for DH season!
just ordered mine today
@@ShredShed_Mtb wow you got it probably at the perfect time too
How does it compare to other ones?
@ I’ve only ridden the GT fury however it was between the V10 Santa Cruz, Tues YT or the Canyon Sender. I love the GT over all tho
@ how much do u weight I’m a small guy .
@ I bought a Large and weight 175lbs.
I love the fact it allows you to install a bottle cage.
@@klstrucker930419 hahaha it’s pretty funny
How are the code r brakes? Im thinking about getting this bike but not sure about the brakes
@@obsidianfilmproductions I haven’t had an issue with them at all, just have to bleed the brakes once in a while.
@TheVozChannel is the bleeding process fairly easy?
@@obsidianfilmproductions yea you will just need a brake bleeding kit and it is pretty easy from there.
No E-Bikes needed. It's an easy climb ;)
I've actually found that the climbs are some of the easiest on the front range. You can lock your shock out and hammer through them once you're used to it. 12 miles open, 28 is the end goal. 10 man gondola planned for 2026
Cool trails do they have anything steeper?
@@phazedplasma there are sections that are more intense but otherwise not quite yet. They are working on a more sections that look pretty crazy.
Is it really necessary to go around the already stacked rocks that were made as a go around. I wonder how trails get so beat so quick and then I watch videos like this. Lots of unnecessary skidding on the take offs to avoid actually using the features. Interesting.
@@karlstationultimator I guess when you’re going down for the first time around it’s a bit hard to understand the lay of the land.
Not at all. There are options to roll or fly at all of those but the camera lies about what you see hitting it for the first time. It's really hard to tell what lies on the other side of those jump/drops. Once you've done the trails 3-4 times you get to know how to take the features.
what brand of ebike do you have?
@@lithium25693 I have the specialized Levo alloy with some suspension upgrades.

Voz - great footage and riding! Trestle is my go-to park for gravity riding since I live just down the hill. My favorite trail, hmm; all of them! I am currently riding a Scott Ransom with 180mm travel and it is perfect for TP terrain. I have watched both Part 1 & 2 but I think you missed one of the best trails of all of them at TP - Be All You Can Be. You rode right past it in Part 1 but if you get back there; highly recommended.
