@Deadliner-svd Correct.
All nonsense everybody's bio needs are different. No size fits all..As simple as that.
These people have no idea what they are talking. The insulin resistance happens first of all in your liver, which is provoked by the fatty liver provoked by the fructose and alcohol.
First of all if you consuming refined sugar products you on the way to chronic disease so there shouldn't even be a question there. You both need to do some under the bug pharma radar research. It's not the carbs ( this is the great myth). It is the fat. Fat over 10% of calories consumed prevents the glucose from getting into the cells. Over consumption of fat causes diabetes. The standard American Diet, SAD, is 40% fat on average mostly from animal products which are very high in fat. Cut out most or all of the animal products and get your fat consumption down to 10% of calories consumed, power up on preferably simple carnohydrates, and the diabetes will disappear. Neither the drug companies ( to the tune of 1 trillion dollars per year world wide) nor the animal agriculture industry ( and it is inestimable how many billions they make). want you to know this. The great myth being promoted by so many ill informed youtubers and all low carb advocates, is keeping you under the thumb of agrabusiness and big pharma! The fact is that if you eat all unrefined carbs( and vegetables of course) you will never get or completely cure diabetes 2.
Sorry, but fat clogging receptors is not real medical science. If you really want to understand IR, read this www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4587882/

OMG--it took you forever to egt to a question. You set up the first question, asked it and re-asked it, kept talking. It took forever to get to hear her response. Get to the point..
We prefer thorough answers on our podcast. 🤷♂️🤷♀️
Ive been full carnivore for 2 years. I'll never eat any from a plant again, im in better shape than ever. Meat heals.
That’s too bad. (PMIDs: 28338764; 33641343; 25073782; 35028521; etc.)
Here's a devastating FACT Vegans hate knowing: The place in the MODERN world in an industrialized area that has the HIGHEST longevity (at the POPULATION level, not just outliers) is HONG KONG! Now the part that will make Vegans lose it: Google for YOURSELF the average daily consumption of Red Meat in Hong Kong and see where it ranks across the world... Can I spoil it for you (but please still look it up yourself 💯) Hong Kong consumes the MOST red meat per capita AND... THEY LIVE THE LONGEST 💥
Animals can run and fight to protect itself unlike plants. Plants need to have other defenses. Laugh all you want but these are facts.
Sounds dangerous. 😂
Funny you pick a guy who is not even a carnivore. He advocates eating fruit.
Someone better tell Paul he's not the "leading authority" then. 😂
Dr Chaffee MD (NEUROSURGEON by the way) just debunked the "Mediterranean Diet" is MAJORLY veggies. Nope it's not, they eat MASSIVE amounts of meat the confusion was they eat meat EVERYDAY but biased Western researchers reported that they only ate meat "once a week". In actuality, what happens is they eat meat everyday but ONCE a week they have basically a massive Sunday BBQ and the documentary film makers took that and stretched it to "they only eat meat once a week" By the way, UA-cam search Dr Chaffee's stuff not only is he a BRILLIANT LITERAL BRAIN SURGEON he has the physique of Clark Kent 💥
I've tried to eat the Mediterranean diet and I gained weight. Went back to eating the way I did. Then I started intermittent fasting and cutting sugar. Now I intermittent fast and am on the carnivore diet and I am losing weight and I feel better
Yeah these two "dead looking" health experts are "nuts" (probably cause they eat too many nuts 😅)
I don't check anything and I feel great .
Since I have been on the carnivore way of eating I feel so much better not eating vegetables.
Agreed
The thing is just try it and if you don't feel better well go back to vegan then you can tell everyone it's not a good diet.
Carnivores and vegans both claim to feel better once they switch. How can that be if their dietary patterns are on completely different ends of the spectrum? It's almost as if they both ate like trash before switching and now they eat a little "better" (i.e. more minimally processed foods). Shocker. 😉
I've seen a lot of vegans here lately changing to carnivore and they see where it is the better way to eat.
Why is it then that carnivores live longer than vegans .
Why is it that people on the Mediterranean diet live longer than both? 😂 The carnivore diet is another one of those 1st world, spoiled rich people diets. Can you imagine if you had to process all the meat yourself on the carnivore diet? Hunter gatherers ate whatever they could get their hands on, not just meat. People are ridiculous and never learn to avoid the extremes. Something is wrong with the health and fitness culture.
Here's a devastating FACT Vegans hate knowing: The place in the MODERN world in an industrialized area that has the HIGHEST longevity (at the POPULATION level, not just outliers) is HONG KONG! Which data are you referring to with the claim that carnivores live longer than vegans?
@imagonutrition Dr. Shawn Baker was saying something about that and I believe it because I hear and see a lot of vegans switching to the carnivore way of eating and there stories are saying exactly what Shawn was talking about, saying that they were actually going down hill eating like that .
@@DarrinnewlifeThat’s opinion and anecdote-the lowest forms of scientific evidence. Which research studies support your claim?
Dr. CHAFFEE is a straight carnivore too and no veggies
200+ days on carnivore, lost 46lbs, but on pure muscle, healed my service related arthiritis, allergies, migraines, high blood pressure, IBS, GERD, depresion, anxiety, and metabolic syndrome. Animals run away and defend t hemselves with claws and teeth. This way of eating is 100% legit. As for real hard science, look up the year long "Bellveue Study" (1928-1929) of Arctic Explorer Vilhjalmur Stefansson. That is hard science, not the epidemiological garbage. Saturated fat in meats does not have any deliterious effects, Ancel Keys' own unpublished Minnesota study proved that (They found it after he died - he did not publish it because it went against his theory). You really need to do more reserach. We do have many eople 20 years into this way of eating, including the Inuit, and Maasai tribes who are both current lifetime carnivores. www.scientificamerican.com/article/records-found-in-dusty-basement-undermine-decades-of-dietary-advice/ Also look into low cholesterol and mental health issues including violent behavior and violent acts of suicide (Check the NIH for that info). You guys need to do more research and come back to this.
Fruit and nuts are the best diet
We recommend highly the inclusion of fruit and nuts, as part of the Four Pillars of Nutrition: www.imagonutrition.com/four-pillars-of-nutrition
All vegetables have poisons and it’s just a matter of tolerance. You don’t want lean cuts of meat. “We know” saturated fats is bad please show some evidence of that!!! And I mean real evidence not fraudulent epidemiology
Almost every “website” is very vegetable based. And almost always contradict themselves
Idiot animals ran away or they can fight back. You guys are sounding very ignorant
Well, dam. 😂
Saladino is off, there are many better doctors out there talking about carnivore which is just a sub group of keto unless you are Saladino
What real evidence is there in nutrition other than bad epidemiological. Carnivore isn’t a diet it is a lifestyle. Paul Saladino’s diet has a major problem with the amount of sugars he thinks is okay.
250 grams carbs? I wonder if Paul a carb addict in denial.
@@johnhanson67 plus check his what I eat and be astonished on how much sugar he takes
When meta analysis analyze junk science, bad science, pseudo science and fraudulent science, is it really the peak of scientific study 🤔
I give Paul Saladino credit where it's due and I USED to value his opinion much more... HOWEVER he's nuts to think the average person can eat THAT MUCH sugar and carbs and be healthy.. sure if someone has HIS lifestyle and is doing surfing, wrestling and CrossFit and has the money he has then sure,😊 eat all those carbs... But with 88% of Americans metabolically unhealthy, he really shouldn't be telling people it's okay to eat THAT MUCH SUGAR
@@DreamsOfLegend completely agree
The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence 😎
I also believe carnivore is a natural response to both activist veganism and it's rise to popularity as well as ultimate failure. But is was ultimately beyond necessary
@@DamcarnivoreI think the OP is in SUPPORT of Carnivore (as he should be)
@@DreamsOfLegend thanks I might have misunderstood their comments so I’ll delete mine
@@DreamsOfLegend Yes I am. As someone who has been to vegan events out of curiosity, I can tell you that many are actively passionate about removing meat from the food supply and that they care more about the cult following than human health. We need more carnivores to actively promote a meat centered diet. Otherwise their world view will go unchallenged.
@@kayc7442 it's INCREDIBLE isn't it? For sure there are probably "fanatical type" carnivores but in my view it seems like it's the Vegans and Vegetarians who are MILITANT and hyper dogmatic about it.. A Carnivore/KETO person could have a blueberry and it's NOT the END of the world.. but a Vegan would FREAK OUT and consider eating just ONE chicken nugget BLASPHEMY! 😅🤙
You folks sound pleasant, but you aren't addressing the criticisms Dr. Berry and Dr. Chaffee raise around healthy nutrition as it looks like you aren't familiar with the same research they have access to.
Which research would that be?
Carnivore is the healthiest diet hands down. This video is misinformation.
In short, YES!!!! 🥩🥩🥩
Switched off when you said you did some research on PubMed….and that saturated fat had detrimental health outcomes. Vegan for 5 years destroyed my health, carnivore is restoring it. Instead of doing some research on a pharmaceutical driven database , try the diet for yourselves and report back your experiences, you might then have a better appreciation of the health benefits it’s giving everyone that’s on it 🤔
I started high fat beef, water & salt 120 days ago. Lost 60 pounds and never felt so good. Haven’t listened to Dr S stuff. Dr Chaffee & Dr Berry influenced me the most. Oldest diet in human history
You lost 60lbs because you began consuming fewer calories. Vegans often lose weight as well. That's the result of a negative energy balance... not a diet of choice.
You are consuming more calories and losing weight because you are in ketosis.
Simple answer... Yes, yes it is... Also, fattier cuts of meat haven't been proven to be bad for you. Those "studies" are flawed from the start... They should state that it is bad for you IF you also consume a high carb diet...

@@imagonutrition Veganism is going through it's last stage now. You are a dying breed...good luck.
Eat meat and save the humans. No one thrives better than a carnivore.
Too long winded, be concise please, tbh 👍🙏
Okay: No, the carnivore diet is not healthy.
👍 'Promosm'
You don't need to eat that much higher than the RDA for protein to build muscle as a vegan. I am speaking from experience. I only eat about 65-75 grams of protein every day, and I don't have a problem putting on muscle mass.
Are you referring to Mark's reference to building muscle in the 1.6 - 2.2g/kg/d range? If so, that comes from PMID: 29414855 where researchers posit that "...a daily protein intake of ~1.6 g/kg/day or as high as 2.2 g/kg/day, appears to be the most influential factor to consider when optimizing muscle mass accretion with resistance exercise is the goal." Do you have different evidence you're using as a point of reference?
Very interesting stuff! I really think more people should understand this.
Agreed! 🤠🤙🏼
List interest 3 minutes in!
I have food allergies. I am not ok with these labels saying 0 sugar but ingredients say sugar. Even .5 g sugar hurts me. How can we change labeling laws? I matter
Will you please talk a little more about zero sugar alternatives?
þrðmð§m ✋
Also, what about exercise calories? To consume or not to consume…that is the question.
Not to consume. 😎🤙🏼 - Mark
Love this! Throwing old “rules” away because I have been mostly under my BMI calories due to some internet weight loss calculators. That said, I’ve heard that it’s better to consume your goal weight maintenance calories because that’s where you want your metabolism to be happiest. No? Also, for someone that has a larger amount of weight to lose (50+), would having a higher protein percentage be something you’d recommend?
Sadly that is very common (eating below BMR), but glad you’re past that now! I don’t recommend consuming “goal weight” maintenance calories. Rather, slowly shift your calories accordingly as your body weight decreases via the method(s) described in this episode. In terms of protein, stick with 25-30% of total calories (which will naturally adjust as your calories adjust) during the weight loss process. I recommend re-running your number every 5-10lbs of average weekly weight loss. 🤠🤙🏼 - Mark
