    Hello there. I have found 8/9 adult vine evils on my olive tree. Its leaves have been nibbled and it looks tired. I have re-potted it in a clean pot and new compost. I even washed the tree roots, but I haven't found any white worms/larvae in the pot or on the roots. Where are they coming from?

    I have a bifucadum that has two to three base fronds in the pot and all are standing up and have the flat sides facing eachother. I am considering mounting them. I am worried though because the base fronds are all brown. When and where can I expect to see a fresh green base frond growing?

    • @facingwestpatio2448
      @facingwestpatio2448 Рік тому

      New fronds will come out from the notch from time to time. The shield fronds turn brown naturally.

    What happened in the end? I’m suffering an infestation of these things....I am picking off around 10 per night....seems to be having no effect....am I wasting my time?

    • @facingwestpatio2448
      @facingwestpatio2448 Рік тому

      I moved to a different location when this video was taken. The infestation was still pretty bad the first year after I moved. They just sort of disappeared the second year after the move. I got lucky. Perhaps they do not like the new environment as much. Or maybe there were some predators in my new location. Good luck with your fight. I would suggest giving nematodes a shot.

      @@facingwestpatio2448 well done....they are resistent little critters! I ordered nematodes today....hopefully are en route..this will be followed by another round of Bug Clear in September. In the meantime I am picking them off the leaves for all I'm worth. The fight continues!

    I would've air layered the cutting, then when it had roots cut it off the mother plant and repot. It would've been the same result you got from your mother fiddle leaf except you could have saved the cutting you tried to propagate. Did you give it any rooting hormone when you propagated it?

    Hello, I have a bat egg with a root cut off. I'd like to try this way, so could you tell me the principle of sealing it and making it root? Doesn't the root rot if i seal it? Is it okay to use the moss from the beginning? I would appreciate it if you could tell me the precautions when trying this way. There's no sound in the middle. 🙏🙏🙏
