Best course I have ever played at

Used to play there all the time about 30 years ago... the tee boxes were the old rubber doormats that you could stick a tee between. Loved that course, and remember teeing off on the 9th hole with a putter for a joke (didn't work out so well....). Might have to take a drive and give it another go

Been using these for a few years now. As a mid-handicapper, these are a good balance between feel, spin, and distance. Some have commented that they feel “dead” off the tee, but I find them to fly very straight for me, while giving me more spin on wedge shots and softer putts. I generally don’t get much spin on the short iron game. I def hit ProV1’s farther off the tee, but at the expense of accuracy. I used to play Titleist DT soft and liked those a lot, but they were discontinued. Supersoft is a great ball for me, not too expensive and durable.

I'm.a member at this coarse certainly looks better their than it does now. The council look after it atm and do a shit job. They don't care. We need a full time green keeper. The fairways are nice and bunkers are hard sand and the cups look like they are cut with a blunt knife. It's such a good little coarse just needs someone privately to take over.

Played here in a society outing earlier in the summer. I agree that it's a 'gem of a course'. So well presented - a credit to all involved. Am looking forward to playing it again!!

I'm 8 handicap and these balls certainly do carry further than tp5 on the irons

got into golf about a year ago, so I was pretty lucky to discover I live 5minutes from this course. That 1st hole the uphill par 4 is pretty tough when you are learning to play

Thanks for giving our local scrap courses a crack, theyre not much but we work with what weve got. You should come try the Skipon course while its still in half decent nick....sponge greens notwithstanding 😅

Need a good amount of course knowledge here. Mostly blind approach shots to hilly undulated small greens. Beautiful course and great people though.

LiV tour is like World Series Cricket was when it first started. Eventually they will combine, and game like LIV will live harmoniously together. Ie there will be shorter tournaments, maybe 2 day, 3 day and 4 day. As for cutting back ball, maybe cut back number of clubs. So start off with 12 clubs. As reach mid handicap, reduce to 10 and Eventually pros play with 7 clubs so bring shot shaping and skill into game.

When in net mode can you play 18 holes with 3/4 people?

You got to kill the music man I'm here to hear what you say not listen to your music it's very distracting If I wanted to listen to music I would turn on my stereo or go to a concert If I want to hear what somebody has to say about golf balls I want to listen to them Thank you for your consideration
