Very much a hidden asset for Scotland. Go look. There are so many marvellous and unique places that a wee bit of research will reveal. Don't follow the crowd.

I wonder what people will think 6000 years in the future? What strange gods did the people worship there? He's right about the destroyed sites think of the the open cast coal mine before such a beautiful change for once usually it's the other way around.

Really want to visit this site. I have a few questions. 1) Did this project need planning permission and was it easy? 2) On a smaller scale would you need planning permission to put up say three, 6 or 12 standing stones? They would be permanent objects but would they require planning permission if these were placed on your own land? 3) If you do need planning permission to put up even one stone, why? You could plant a young tree and that would be permanent for a good several hundred years? Do trees require planning permission?

Calling it 'Crawick' is a strange choice as it puzzles everyone. Sanquhar Multiverse would be a much better choice and would bring more visitors. I read a few reviews of the site and they failed to make it clear where it is - not a good sign. Best of luck as it is a fascinating creation and once the landscape has matured it will be even better.

An oddly obscure name given that Sanquhar is nearby and is well known - Crawick barely exists.

This idea is genius. I love how the artist chose to incorporate the multiverse concept with things that were already there, so as not to waste or mess with the environment too much. I’m sure this landscape will be a great source of education for many too. spidersilkthebook.blogspot.com/
