Hi Mike! The videos are usually made in English so it could reach all learners around the world. There is an option for the viewer to translate the transcript though, kindly check your video setting and choose subtitles for Greeks. Yes today I overhauled the pump and tried out successfully. But during overhauling found shaft become little thin in the area near mechanical seal so i replaced whole motor. Thanks to spare motor we have.

Sorry for the late response. It must be from the worn friction pads. Or broken flat belt.

Hey' Find the valve that controls the back pressure. It is the one with the Allen key adjusting knob. Forgot the specific valve number but that's how we adjust the feed rate. You can also try to adjust the manual inlet valve to control the flow.

Like most sight glass, it is for engineers to be able to carry out visual inspection in cases of leak. :)

It was on long standstill and when the engineer on the watch changed the service compressor it broke down. Later on, it was discovered that the lube oil on the sump tank was very dirty. It could have been the build up of sludge that broke it. Unloader valve was checked and was working fine.

Some designs have cooling muffs to make sure that the rubber impeller doesn't run dry, overheat and become brittle. When the rubber impeller on the cooling system is worn out, there will be no more cooling supply. Hence, always run submerged in the water. Hindi kaya pressure transmitter?

Feedback error meaning yung pressure transmitter mali or walang signal na binibigay, baka electronic trouble.

Correct. We need correct separation temperature only that for this purifier tutorial , we were having MGO since we are in ECA, hence no heating was required. Will try to make new one on HFO. Thanks!

You could your operating water, maybe the pressure is not enough. Sometimes orifice of valve block water gets clogged.

Setting in terms of temperature? Makikita sa bunker analysis. Dun kasi naka depende ang treatment ng oil. Check your bunker lab data and dun ka mag base sa requirements. Thanks for dropping by.

Pressure transmitter fault

Could you check if there's a valve with an allen key that you could use to adjust the PT4? Usually if this valve is not properly calibrated some problems with PT4 happens.

If I am not mistaken the valve is VA4 or V4. It is a pneumatic valve that you could calibrate via allen key.

what is pt4 you know?pls say m

PT4 if Im not mistaken is the backpressure. You could adjust through put or rate of feed/hr by regulating the valve.

@@marineengineering1O1 yes things have been sorted out. The 3-way valve was not operating as the air block was non responsive..

Tama ,manual opening and closing ng water flow yan. Usually kapag mag trouble shoot ginagalaw natin yan (Open/Close) to check kung may flow ang operating at sealing water.

@@thishandleisntavailble444 high oil pressure baka blocked ang fuel line or may close na valve. Kapag heavy vibration yes kailangan i apply ang brake. Pero pagkatapos kailangan check baka hndi na okay ang alignment ng bearing kaya malakas na mag vibrate or baka imbalance na dahil madumi na ang disc stack.

There is probably another interlock alarm that was not reset. Check the relays maybe or some contactors not properly reset.
