Kenda Bear Claw K299 ATV Tire Review
Переглядів 31 тис.11 років тому
In this video I have a 25x10-12 Kenda Bearclaw ATV tire mounted on an ITP steel wheel. The Kenda Bear Claw is a 6ply bias-ply tire. Depending on the size, the treads are 5/8 or 3/4 inch tall. This tire is a great all around tire that's most suited for trail riding. It's available in 23 different sizes (which is a lot) so you should have no problem finding the size you need to match your sport q...

Переглядів 229 тис.11 років тому
This is a how to install swingarm bearings in a dirt bike installation video. We are working on a 2006 Honda CRF450 and using All Balls Racing swingarm bearings. I want to apologize for not having the part where we pounded out the bearings on film. I was at the powdercoater's and he was in a hurry to get the swingarm in the paint booth. But we had them out in 5 minutes and we just used a socket...

Sooooooo is that good or bad?
Thanks brother from India
👍
I have 3 different size spoke lengths for my ktm 125 sx supermoto rims I can’t remember which place the longest ones go and which place the shortest go . The rims are identical to urs really, does it matter which side the spokes go in so long as the offset is correct for the disc brake and the rotor
Use boldest ring it will helps you alot
Loved the video. However I feel All Ballz is total junk hardware. I’d never reccomend their crap. Oem for bearings all the way.
ah damn i put the washers in the wrong order lol. I put the yellow one in the middle
Really good video
Neat way of installing bearing
I thought the all balls yellow thrust bearing faces out he put it facing in ..? Is that correct ?
It takes 7 years to true a rim?
not much of a review
Whats the 3rd sleeve/collar for?
Be a lot easier and we could see a lot more if you worked from the bottom up. Stick the rod and nut in From Underneath first, then carry on from there. Everything becomes easier and more visible. We can see what you're doing and less of your hands. Just my 2c.
good job brother
Magkno po yhn gnyan
Thanks brow
I had 1 spoke break. I fixed it. I just had 2 more break. I have warp 9 sm wheels on a WR250R. What can I do to fix this problem? I tension the spokes by the sound test and by feel I’d say the are 3-4ft/lbs. I try not to over tighten them at all. Thanks.
My Honda spec is 3.5 in-lbs. So you're off by a factor of 12, too high. Check your bike specific spec and see if you can borrow a spoke specific torque wrench
Thanks bro!
Only thing that is bad about this is if it's going in Correctly ... But great job
Got the All Balls kit for an SR 500 Yam and the minimum instruction on the packet for the thrust washers says to put the POM coating (yellow material) towards the outside of the motorcycle. So who's wrong you or All Balls?
A great tutorial without the bloated intros. Thanks
Old thrust washer is called a torrington bearing. Its probably better than the newer composite yellow one.
Then why do they replace it ?
since when do yo grease the outside of the bearing case
What is the most common hole in the rim size
kenda k299 bear claw 4pr and 6pr,what difference? 27 /11/12 аnd 27/12/12 size.
WOW WAY TO MUCH WORK. why not use a small pipe jack and your done
Yellow side goes OUT and your outer rubber seal is on backwards too.
Thanks.
What are those sponge bob rings called im trying to order some
jonn g lmao what
What is the PSI pounds per square inch exerted on that 16 penny nail's small pointed head? That 58 pound puncture rating is misleadingly low in interpretation and IMO if it was PSI rated it be much more impressive to the masses.
Thanks! Good job.
thanks for the attempt. but next time include more information please.
how much for the rim?
Just did my 04 and the collar was 54mm chain side 49mm brake side.
nice music
On my bike (03 rm 125) the very last step ...the last peice sticks out about a 1/4 inch ...i cant push it in all the way because if i do it would push my seals and washers out
Video should be titled How to lace a rim and never ever true it
1 year on and no part 2? C'mon, get with it!
Really, I agree, one year and no part 2. An unorganized or lazy company!
Hi How do you measure the hubs and the rim to get the correct spoke length for any wheel or hubs. I google online spoke calculator It give me bicycles. Is there one for motor bikes
A guy gave me two rims and hubs and some random spokes . I put the wheel together one side of the wheel had longer spokes how do I get the correct spoke . Anyone help !!!!!
3/4" tread on "larger tire"? Meaning your 26" & 27"? Is there a vid on those?
Please note i have done this myself but all balls state that the yellow washer is to be installed facing to the outside of the motorbike.
Right. Wouldn't want to be paying this bloke to do the job would you.
Can someone help me I need an 18" x 3" 32 hole rim!
does it matter if you do the outside spokes first or it doesnt matter? and how thick are those blocks?
great test try something that is the same size as a stick 1/2 or something and put the weight of a atv on it at least.
58 lbs thats nothing how much does a atv weight
I don't find that test very useful unless they listed the amount of pressure it took with others tires for comparison. I think if you run over a 16p nail at a 90 angle with just about any tire you are going to puncture it but if you can compare the pressure for different tires it might give you some indication of how puncture resistant it might be.
im replacing mine atm on my old rm250. the main bearing wall is completely seized to the swingarm itself.. lol like they have never been re greased or replaced in there life
wow
This is not a review. This is telling people the tire specs.
When part2 ?
yo, mang! its time to call yer buddy, or forward these comments to him. i'd really like to see part 2. well done on part 1, and yeah, great looking rims. how-ever, im getting new spokes and rim in two days, and would love to see how you conclude part 1. eh! im subscribing to yer youtube with great anticipation for part 2. pls keep them coming. call him.
If you're sending files out to a video guy, you need to find a new video guy. Sound is mono!!
