Gary b you never put the bike in 5th gear, I have a 47 tooth sprocket on my TDUB I can cruise 60-65 all day long and 70 mph for 20 miles on the highway exit to exit I don't know what you mean "can I do it".
@@garybtw200 Oh ok my bad the rpms sounded high so I just assumed you kept it in 4th gear. But yeah the TDUB is the best bike I have ever road and owned I love it. I use mine to and from work that's why I have a 47 tooth sprocket. I also love the fact you can put an atv tire on the rear, something to think about. Oh one more thing I got rid of the stock front tire aka death wing and put on a rear 140-80-18 on the front and must say what a positive difference lots of tread and the front really digs into the mud, dirt, sand etc.. and it's a little loud on the road but not that bad and still able to hit speeds in access of 70 mph, going with the wind of course. I enjoy your videos have fun!
Hi P J. I rarely go fast enough to put it in 5th gear. :) The highway that cuts trough the city has a speed limit of 60kph or about 35mph. On the city streets, its even slower. I am preserving 5th gear. Thanks for watching !!
Thanks for watching. Its a bit of land just outside a large city and people use it to get rid of appliances and such. So sad. The city has started to clean it up.

I have noticed with my friends that have the 250 the xl 250 they don't have as low a first gear, they have a little problem when we have to grandma through some pretty tough stuff, whereas I'm on the road they can comfortably go a little faster but not that much I personally would never gear my TW up for higher speeds than I would lose that much desired 1st Gear. And I like being low as I can to the ground.
Like your guys's videos wanted to leave a comment in an earlier one wasn't able to You guys have a bad habit of shutting your bikes down with the kill switch use your key and you won't forget to shut your lights off Kill switch is an emergency switch👍
I got a 22 XT and it’s a rugged ass bike. We have been through a lot with 5k on the clock, including going off a side of a steep MT and hitting a fire hydrant buried in bushes at 2am which left a gouge in the tank, many drops on rugged trails and it still starts every push.
It looks like you’re in Alberta as well? did you rejet for the exhaust? I have the same DG exhaust but haven’t rejetted and think I should before I install it.
Sadly the dr650 put me to sleep. This bike would put me in a coma.

Hello. I do have a different sprocket but decided stay with torque rather than speed. Still fun to ride.

Since just love to do trails the tw200 is perfect once in while get it int the road and 50 to 60 mph is just fine for me enjoy it
