Thank you so so much for this video ❤❤I love the look of it on my sweater sleeves.
Hello to both of you, I really enjoyed this episode 🧡. Julia, if you need any test knitters for the Solaire Sweater, I’m love to be considered. It’s so interesting to see what everyone’s favourite items are in their notions bag, thanks for sharing. Enjoy the holiday season and happy knitting 🧶

So happy you made a new video! I love watching you chatting and sharing your projects and inspirations so, so much! Thank you:
i love Laxtons yarn ! Beautiful sweater … many thanks
always enjoy your videos. all your colors and patterns match your cheery personalities. Can you share more about the yarn and edits you made to the Preppy cardigan for the vest? Or if it's an available pattern. I do have the Laine issue with the cardigan. Would love to replicate for myself. Thank you both for sharing!
I (Julia) am working on it! Laine holds the exclusive rights until spring 2024. I think I will prepare the instructions for the changes for the release of the single pattern in my Ravlery store. Stay tuned!
Fantastic. Thank you! Have a lovely holiday.@@matildajuliasgreatestknits
Lovely and inspiring!! Thank you both!!
This cast off made my bottom very tight and does not stretch. Even with a larger needle. Now I have pick up stitches and cut off the bind off. 🥵
Brilliant! Thank you for posting!❤ Just binding off my Kumo now. This works great!
That’s great to hear! Happy Kumo Wearing!
Feeling very inspired again! Food and knitting-wise. Thank you.
You are welcome! We are very happy to hear that!
Love the Preppy Cardigan ❤
Thanks 😊
Wow! I love the Preppy cardigan! I'm from Argentina and I can't get the magazine here, will the pattern be available on Ravelry?
Thanks! From February onwards it will be available as a single download on Ravelry and Julia’s website. She will announce it on her websand Instagram account.
Here we are in 2023 and I am just discovering your podcasts. Although late, I am happy to be able to binge watch all of your episodes and become inspired by your work until now! ❤ Regarding music and bands, if you haven't already, I'd love to recommend a korean band called "The Rose" There album titled "Heal" is one of my favorites, and one of the lead vocalist, "Woosung" has a mesmerizing and unique vocal tone. Watch the live performance of "The Rose ilysb" 3 songs, The Definition of Ugly, Childhood and Sour from the album Heal are My favorites. 😊
Hello! So happy you found us and like our podcast ! Thanks for the tip. We will definitely check out that band it sounds great 😊
I love these episodes so much. And I am super excited about the forthcoming carrot pattern! ❤
Aw, thank you! Carrot pattern coming up 👩🏻💻
Another lovely podcast! Julia’s new sweater went straight onto my queue. One of my favorites dishes for a gathering is paella. I have a big pan that in the summer can go over a wood fire, and on the stovetop in other months. I love to make homemade stock to cook the rice and add chorizo, chicken and seafood for omnivores, veg stock, extra smoked paprika, lots of roasted peppers and artichokes for the vegetarians. Always fun, always a hit.
Oh yummie! That sounds like a great dish that creates lots of deliciousness by itself 👌🏻
Lekker!! Great colourchoices for the new designs ❤ and will there be more veggies on the needles? Love from Rotterdam
There might! We find vegetables very inspiring 😇
Hello, another lovely podcast! Beautiful knits and so inspiring ❤ Congratulations on your pattern featuring in Laine, what an achievement 👏 I enjoyed hearing about your fav recipes too. I often do a roast leg of lamb slow cooked with anchovies, garlic and Rosemary and serve it with some homemade potato flat bread, couscous salad, hummus and a lettuce and fresh herb salad from my garden. A crowd pleaser😊
OMG that sounds amazing! Delicious!
Just discovered your podcast and am enjoying your episodes ❤. For the shawl bottom, perhaps a series of tiny tassels, primarily in the main color but occasionally interspersed with one of the contrasting line colors. I think that it would look quite cool and minimalistic at the same time. 🧶 Keep up the Great work! I love your original segment ideas and sharing. 🧶
Ohhh that sounds like a cute idea! Thanks Julia will try that out.
The knitted veggies are so cute and real looking…love the beet leaf. My salad this summer is based on Lemony Chickpea Quinoa Salad by Sylvia Fountaine.
Sounds great! Always love chickpea and quinoa
Thank you -so cute!!
Thank you too!
Supersüß
Danke!! 🦋
So lovely! Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome! ❤️
Fun idea. You could make the bows into butterflies
ooohhh, goo idea!
Thank you for those great salad tipps, I copied your recipes and everybodys loving them in the family. Great idea!
So glad! There is no such thing as too many salad recipes!
Heerlijke en inspirerende podcast ! Zo verfrissend. Ik vind het geweldig hoe jullie de klassieke breipodcast open trekken. Top ! ❤
Dankjewel, leuk dat je gekeken hebt!
Love the salad ideas thank you ❤ One of my favourite salads is raw broccoli cut very small with chopped red onion, Handful of dried cranberries, a selection of toasted seeds ( sunflower, pumpkin, sesame) toasted walnuts, thinly sliced apple, chopped feta, lots of chopped fresh herbs in a lemon, garlic mustard vinaigrette 😊
Hmmm, Ok, we definitely need to try that!
Yours is my favorite podcast! The range of what you discuss and show is so inspiring and fun! Thank you!!!
Awww thank you for your lovely words, we're so glad you like it ❤
Now I am hungry!!!! I am from Italy 🇮🇹 but live in the USA… Salads here are very different. I still love mine dressed with Olive oil, salt and balsamic vinegar. If I want to be fancy I add some Dijon mustard, but I still like a salad that is light and fresh! We eat a lot of cabbage in our salads and cucumbers. Thanks for your pod cast, it is very real, and doesn’t make me feel bad because I have not finished several projects. I feel i am a process knitter , I like to knit to escape reality and relax….
We made ourselves hungry as we filmed it 😂 Your salad dressing sounds like simple perfection. And we're so glad to hear that you love our style. We all work at our own pace, and us process knitters like to share too!
You guys are very creative and original wow! I love your veggies and the pink patch on the cashmere wow🌈! Awesome🤩👌✨🫶
Cheers Jane! The patching project was super satisfying
Thanks for another inspiring podcast. Loved the salad section 😋
Thanks for joining us!
so nice to have found your channel. My favorite salad: Arugula, cucumber, black olives, couscous, hard boiled egg with olive oil and lemon dressing, salt and pepper. Easy and so satisfying.
Oohhh sounds delish! Love egg in a salad 🍳🍳
Thank you for this lovely podcast. This is the recipe that I am asked to bring all the time to family and friends gatherings. 1 cauliflower cut into small pieces. 1 head of broccoli cut into small pieces 1 red onion, cut into strips. Dressing: Mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp. Vinegar, 1 tbsp. Sugar and a pinch of worcestershire. This is simple, yet delicious! Elise from Quebec Canada
Mmmmmm!!!! Sounds delish, thanks Elise!
I’m so hungry! 😂 My favorite summer salad contains some salad leaves, green peas, cucumber, avocado, fresh mint, lime juice, olive oil, pepper, salt and halloumi. It has a perfect combination of sweet and salty.
You had me at halloumi!
Years ago I brought a tomato mozzarella basil with balsamic dressing to a pot luck. It’s still my favorite for summer salad.
Such a great standby in summer, a definite crowd pleaser
