That's a fair (and terrifying) point. With that in mind, it's even more important to have some skilled Drone Pilots that use their powers only for good in our corner then.. for any impending drone battles (crossing fingers we never see this happen)

@x.gxcha..tilda.x yes, this is in my city! It's almost 29 stories tall 😳 which is basically the size of the bagger 288 which is extra gross to think about in retrospect 😭

Yes, megalophobia and arachnophobia (also thelassophobia) are my biggest ones too 😩 I tried to challenge myself with the wind turbines for this video but after a certain point I got too nauseous and I couldn't look anymore. I get like this with big machines too, and those super deep diving pools 🤢 it's weird because I've never seen any of those in real life but even looking up photos online make me feel like throwing up. Anyway, solidarity to weird niche phobias 💖

@@strudelbrand hello thank you for replying! Megalophobia is quite a challenge especially with me, mine is severe and i can get anxious by looking up at tall trees it just gives me the shivers. I heard wind turbines are as tall as a 32 room skyscraper! Horrifying. My father worked at a college with a wind farm next to it. I can't believe he had the guts to go upclose and look inside!

I didn't realize they were that tall. Once, I saw a video that had some parts of the turbine blade traveling via semi truck and as soon as I realized what I was looking at, I felt sick! Impossibly large 😩 I've never met another person with this type of phobia, I've tried to explain it to people but they don't get it either. I don't know where mine came from, the first time I discovered I had it was from learning about "Bagger 288", which is a huge mining machine (do NOT recommend looking it up) and I actually puked when I saw a scale picture of it. Horrifying for sure. Sad you also have to deal with this super niche phobia, but thank you for commiserating with me! 💖

@@strudelbrand The bagger 288 and is the largest in the world. It measures 240 meters, is 96 meters high and weighs an incredible 13,000 tons. yes wind turbines are very tall and you are the first person i ever met with the phobia to! Wanna be moots? If you dont know what a moot is its just online friends ☺️ i also don't recommend searching the bagger 288 on wind farm. You.will.freak. You will see the real size of a turbine. Trust me, it is enormous compared to the bagger 288.

Oh my goodness, I can't imagine seeing both of them together 😭 anything that shows context of how big those turbines are makes it so much worse. Otherwise, I can almost convince myself it's not as big as it really is 😅 And yes!! It's so nice to meet someone else who understands this lol, nice to meet you 😊

Good point about New York! Although we did hear that the downtown library is actually slowly sinking because it's so heavy ...... 😳 which also unlocked a phobia I didn't realize I had, but that's a discussion for another day, perhaps 😅

A slightly terrifying fact! 😳

Fact! There are over 5000kms of coal mine tunnels and shafts in the area. Enough distance to travel to St. John's Newfoundland.

I do find something poetic about overlaying a skeleton on the Buffalo mural, for sure! I think the "addition" lasted a full 24 hours before it was cleaned off. We were lucky to catch it in the in-between!
