its a great game. Falls short to OSRS. But if you burn out of OSRS this is the only backup in my opinion. This is one of the greatest mmorpgs of all time.

when my brother and i bought this game on release, we were disappointed with the lack of group content since we wanted to play together. it didn't take long (30 minutes) before we decided to not play it any longer. recently, i decided to re-install the game and give it a try as a solo. guess i'll see how far i get. thanks for the video.

party content is really the downside of this game. i know they try to not make group content mandatory, so ppl can still solo everthing wich is an appeal of bdo, but they cant get anything right. in 2020 when the gear you get from season now was the end of midgame, spots like mirumock where the best by far. you could find groups constantly in the party finder, meet noobs that had sub 100h, pros in the 1000s and everything in between. the chill grind and 3 ppl loot ment, that at least 2 of the 5 man party just chilled and you got some cool discussions going. you also had 12 tree rota wich exploited the group range to grind 3 rotations as one for higher exp with high gear players. iam pretty sad i never got to experience the original gyfin 5 man spot.

My hands hurt grinding but recently I switched the SHIFT key to my Side mouse button, the more forward one so my hand is more natural and it has helped a ton! I had been planning on doing this for over a year now and I finally pulled the trigger. It was super awkward for a few weeks but I am much happier now.

They announced a lot of group content on the horizon. Alter of Blood and Guild raid like bosses are coming. But we don't have hard dates at this point. Hoping we get dates on Saturday June 22nd with Heidal Ball.

i played this game for hours and my current gear is around 710gs, but its boring lately as got no one to play with , i wish they some major changes for group content honestly!!!

Also buy as many farms as you can 10CP each. Do garlic and onion id say to start. Unless someone else has input on that but its been working for me like a charm. Breen them until you get blue versions. If you get magical seeds then 2 seeds take up the whole garden vs 10. So it saves time. Farming if you intend on cooking is super legit. THEN you have the mushrooms but that's mostly alchemy

I just started watching this video and I had to stop to comment- right from the start- I love the thumbnail, subtitles, editing and you immediately started the video with a great deal of confidence. Some tips: You can turn off Cosmetics and show your armor with the icons in your inventory/gear window. You don't need to collect all your daily and/or special give way, you can leave them there 4 ever if they don't have an expiration date. Do the Magnus quest line to help you with town storage. And if you think you are gonna play enough, the only thing you need to purchase from the shop is the Value Pack. Don't forget to spam R while questing 😜 Hope these tips help! /Cheer

yo, i had a great time in BDO until the end game and i couldn't figure out how to upgrade the equipment. i watched videos, but it never made sense. good luck.

I have played few years ago. Steam says I have 259 hours played. When I was leaving I had that feeling in mind - I still have no idea what am I doing... Even path of exile isn't that complex. You need hours of video guides to figure how BDO works. I will give it a try, but honestly I prefered old mmos like TERA. Standard nice graphics, solid combat without 40 combos on each characters to learn. Hotkey skills are a big pros for me rather than memorising all possible attacks with manual imput. Instance based mmos are also my preference, open world is HIGHLY optional. Just popup teleport to dungeon right from town Where are these games now...

I actually did give up on the game the first time many years ago, but like you I got a cheap copy and revisited it. It is very overwhelming to the new player, you just have to struggle through a little bit. Ya the amount of items they dump on you is still a little ridiculous, you just have to store or sell off anything not directly useful to your character to free up inventory. Still the most beautiful MMORPG world I've seen, the ships the horses just add to it.

the very first thing you have to expect is the very slow download speed of the game launcher.

As you discover more about the twist and turns in BDO you will find that expanding your storage space is easy to come by without spending anything. Best way to expand is by contribution points you got from knowledge in-game and distribute it to houses in the city you want to expand the storage. Magnus questline also helps a lot when storage sharing is enabaled.

Um you're spreading some false information buddy. Some of the armors in the game will change your appearance and you get alot of free outfits. The quality of the outfits arent good compared to shop outfits but you get a variety. You would know this if you played a bit more.

If you get into it you become addicted. Enhancing system can be frustrating sometimes but you will be even more happier if its succesful! I love this game

We started this game as a 4 man group like 2-3 weeks ago. We all German but playing this game in English so we can get Infos easier cos the most creators are English speaking. But still not a single one of us has problems with the items, quests or anything. If you like this game you will not have any trouble cos after 1-2 videos you get into it. + PA is reducing all the items. Ps: all 4 of us spend 10€ so far. You can buy a bundle for 10€ but get pearl worth 20€. We just bought that horse horn while the price was reduced so wen can call it from any distance. What I want to tell u guys is simple. Don't worry about nothing, try not to sell stuff at the beginning until u know what u need that item for. And NO YOU DONT NEED INVENTORY SLOTS!!! I got over 120 slots and can't even fill the half of it cos of weight xD so don't worry. Btw pick the class u like don't watch meta lists. The class that u rate S tier now can be B tier next month! Gl hf ^^ the guild "JointPoint" will help you if you looking for a guild to play and chill. ( you get cosmetics for free in BDO from time to time. Got 4 without buying)

There is a RU Server, and its Free2Play game there) I don't know, why exactly EU servers and other's made this game Pay2Play....but...In any case, if u r about 2 play BDO - better to play it via Official Game Launcher wich can be easily found by typing bdo in yours browser. Why u need in-betweens.... Also, the Costumes (Skins, outfits etc.) r not necessary for first week or two, and Pearl Abys does make maaaaany gifts all the time, so everyone, literally every account, who started the game for 6 month has atleast 5 or more outfits in they're store bundled)) So, don't rush, enjoy the game, and it will reward you)

Nice video, my tips to you are : 1. Use horse for trash loot so you dont go back to town when grinding 2. Do the Magnus questline so you get all storages from all cities and teleport function 3. Do the Infinite Health and Mana potions quests right away 4. Do dailies and weeklies for your guaranteed PEN gear and PEN accessories 5. Use buffs wisely, you have plenty of buffs given by the game, use them, don't save them and use item drop rate and item drop chance wise 6. Start working on your Garmoths heart questline as soon as you can 7. FIX YOUR UI! 8. DO NOT WASTE CRON STONES ON SEASON GEAR Thats about it, have fun

I honestly play bdo on/off since some years and didnt got that far just 630 Gearscore but when i saw the part learning it all from new im so happy i dont need to haha i come back after some month pause and still know everything and dont need to learn it new. I dont know if i would learn it all new tbh lmao. All that time reading guides and watching guide videos etc. But tbh i do like it to invest into something (reading, guides) > do it right/efficient > get most/more profit.

I hope your Video for the Endgame content follows fast :D I had 2 Endgame Chars which had nearly all the BIS-Items. But that was years back. Every friend of mine and I myself dropped the game, because it had no Endgame content... You could either focus on live skills (like horse breeding and whatnot) or cycle the world bosses for gear. And that was so underwhelming, that we all dropped the game (My friends all played WoW before. They just missed the Dungeons and Raids for endgame gear). I hope they fixed that issue by now. + nice Video^^

BDO’s a game where you’ll be hooked after you quit like 5-6 times 😂 I think the way they structured quests was to try to force players to pay attention to the story. I mean, they even have a multiple choice test in the new region. Unfortunately if the story is boring, especially compared to the rest of the game, players will continue to just skip through. But otherwise the game is phenomenal if you take the time to learn. It reminds me of a much prettier, action combat version of RuneScape where you set goals for yourself and grind. I do agree it was weird not being able to “show off” your new armor/weapon set at first…until you realize costumes are what people actually show off. The game definitely knows how to get you to spend. I think they know there aren’t really any direct competitors to the game. If you have a gambling addiction or lack self control, you may want to steer clear. I think to truly get everything out of this game you need a very capable PC. And as far as immersion, playing on an ultrawide monitor helps 😉.

Everyone always says how amazing this game looks but when trying it myself it just looks like a pixelated piece of shit every time which i thought might be a bug but no amount of tweaking the settings was able to change that. the controls feel like complete ass, too. Highly recommend against even spending a dollar on this game. even if you like it it'll be an abusive p2w gambling relationship better to just stay away.

You're on a season server, playing as a season character. It's basically a fast pass that steamrolls a lot of content to get you to endgame in about a day or two. The drawback to this is you miss a lot of world building and tutorials, which can make an already overwhelming starting experience even more confusing. Season characters are also restricted to two sets of gear and that's why it all looks the same. The game also pushes a lot of microtransactions because at this point, it expects you to already know the in-game ways of obtaining said items, and assumes you'd rather just pay for it than grind. BDO does a bad job of explaining this, but seasons are primarily for veteran players to make alts or try new classes without having to grind/gear them. Side note about armor, you will get what's called "honor costumes" for completing the main story quests. They are costume skins of most of the gear that's available on normal servers (and can be previewed during character creation). There are also a bunch of costumes that can be crafted that look like completely different armors, lifeskill costumes, and regular clothing.

Nice video man! I've been playing this game for a long time and I'm very invested and addicted to it. However, as you pointed out, starting out can be very complex, the pros of the game, such as the combat and scenery, really keep you playing tho. I hope you continue playing and get into more fun stuff, such as the black shrine, and other life skills. I would recommend that you turn off the alerts thought xD, they can be pretty annoying
