Mapping EdGCM output using Panoply

Demonstration of how to plot data extracted from EdGCM (in .nc format) using the freely available Panoply software. I show how to generate basic shaded maps and also how to overlay wind vectors. Although this demo uses EdGCM data, it is also suitable as a general overview for plotting any netcdf data (from e.g. climate models, NWP models, satellite instruments...) in Panoply.
