Something to note that has really helped me with doubles - Practice your ankle technique singles as much as your doubles, a fast ankle single will make the initial stroke of the double a lot easier to pull off. Also, don’t listen to anyone saying heel down or heel up is correct; do what works for you.

yhea , millenium 1000 hit hat is famous to not be calibrated well from the stock . there are plenty of videos around how to setup it in the menus and bring it to his full potential, it suck AT THE START but is tunable , and become a good one , you should go inside the menus and retune the triggers, also other parts can be tuned wildly and enprove performances a lot , is an amazing kit for this price hands down , is a pity that they send it with a non perfectly tuned unit , but .....

bruh why are you hammering that in your lap set that on the ground lol. My highschool band used to hoard all the broken cymbals in our schools band room and stack them up, skys the limit with this stuff if you like weird short clappy clangs, you can sett a splash on a crash, you can take 2 broken cymbals and wrap the broken bits around eachother so it deadens at that spot, stack 3 or more, all kinds of fun.

Will be more dramatic with more holes, larger, and not so close to the bell. Also use real cymbal. Also you should use a step drill bit, or at least a metal bit rather than what looks to be a wood bit. The holes change the sound and create a faster attack and decay.

Im thinkin about buy this kit, i use today alesis nitro mesh with EZ drummer 3. I hate the hi-hat on alesis and why i want to upgrade. Do you think the hi-hat is because of the module or its just bad that even EZ drummer cant fix?

Hi, thanks for the review! What about the rim shot on the snare, Is It possibile with this kit? Playing the rim and the center toghether? I have also 2 more questions: the "crescendo" on the cymbals ? Is also possibile to load the sounds in the module instead of connecting to PC with vst?

I have a perforated eardrum (hole in my eardrum, haha drum) but it was extremely painful and very bad for my drumming career, I couldn’t play real drums for over a months time and had to rest in bed for ages. Moral of the story, don’t have your headphones blasting your ears, wear ear protection and play drums right!

Wow now that's what I want to build but using my $5,000 Acoustic Pearl Drums turn them into Electronic Drum Kit and they would be Like a 2 In 1 Kit that you can play in your Apartment and play in Acoustic in a gig outside ( Electronic in doors and Acoustic for out doors) .👍

This is a great review I was hesitant to buy this kit because of the hi hat issue I had the 850 kit and sold it because of the high hat problem. I think I’ll get this kit now thanks for the upload

Sounds good, but you need to use a different surface to hammer against, like a tree, hollow log, the firm ground with a old thick leather jacket on it, you need to hammer against something unmovable or nearly unmovable, the things you hammer against,... don't do shit, use your head, I mean to think not hammer. Lol

I did this too with 4 or 5 splashes of various sizes from 6" to 10" some with holes already in them and added a bunch of gaff tape. I hated that I lost four cymbals though. This is genius! Sound great!
