Hey Mark! I work in Aviation Security and maybe could give a bit of an insight into the security confusion: a lot of countries are still using the old 2D image X-Ray machines, which are a pain in the ass to use and yes, require large electronics to be removed from your bags. What’s happening now is people are switching to the new 3D machines where you don’t need to remove anything (like with the NEXUS screening point), unfortunately these things are like half a million dollars so the rollout is slow going. Love the videos and hope to see you come through NZL sometime :)

You nailed the 1 bag in the overhead! I also travel a lot (work in Labrador, live in Mexico) so I only travel with a backpack since I have the appropriate clothes at both ends of the trip. Yet still, I put my back backpack under the seat until everyone on board and then will put it overhead if still room. Unfortunately you left out "no need to jump up and get your luggage down and into the aisle 3.2 seconds after the bell at the gate".

I can relate to this alot! Ive been traveling to all the 24 f1 races this year and a bunch of other events all over globe, roughly 40 weekends at race tracks all up, even though im traveling as a fan ive been vlogging my experiences the changing timezones, eating out, hotels, takes its toll. But ive found as long as i take health fitness and sleep seriously i can power through anything! I did have a yoga matt with me through one part of the journey but left it back in oz hahaha!

i just love good quality video, do you sometimes find yourself in a situation, where you are filming some action in 24FPS and regret that you didnt film it in 120FPS, cause something slowmotion worthy happened during the shot?

i also bought the sigma 28-45 for gimbal use, its a bit heavy, but i just had to buy it, cause its so special, the zoomrange is a little bit of a weird one, but for nightshots i think its very well suited

Little fun fact: the thing you talked about filming a black frame or another clip of your hand after actually originated from skate videos. When Skaters want to get sponsors, they have to film a "skate part", meaning a reel of their best tricks. And in the VHS Handicam era the person filming would put their hand in front of the lens when the skater did the trick correctly to indicate that that was one of the best attempts.

7:05 Something I found helpfull is keeping track on what car/cars are infront of whoever you photographing/filming unless the cars infront pit or get overtaken. Also thanks for answering my question! Great video as always 🙌

People don't realize the difference between traveling "For" work vs traveling "As" work. I can't imagine being a f1 travel employee where you travel all over the world, work long hour days and nights then get shipped to the next location and do it all over again.
