As a student, these subjects can often feel daunting and difficult to comprehend. However, through these lessons and problem solving videos, we aim to simplify complex concepts, making them easier to understand and apply in real-life situations. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in your academic pursuits, as well as to foster a love for learning in these fascinating fields.

Nice, but I thought the goal of the problem was to show that in a region where the force depends only on the position in space, not the path taken, then the work done is also path independent. One would then have to generalise the solution.
In this question the force is a constant. Also if a force is conservative then work done is independent of the path.
