I love the berg
Nice sends
Ouch
mx sim clean out
She sounds nice
I owned one of these bikes. With zero intent to brag, it scared the living $hit out of me. I've ridden a lot of bikes, and for the majority of my life since I was about 8 and used to work at a bike shop. I never intentionally had that bike out of 4th gear. The previous owner said it would cruise at 100mph all day long, which I scawffed at. Until I got it in the woods, went down a damn-near straight hill, accelerated out of a curve, and stood it straight up in the air. My 2 buddies are engineers, very humble, and very skilled riders. One desert raced a CR500R for 3 years. He rode it once. My other friend is 6'-2" and about 300#. He said "I have never upshifted on a steep hill, dug a trench and been shot off the top of a hill like a cannonball." Bith of them declined to ride it again. I'm 5-9, 180#. Only then was I able to validate my opening statement. "I'm not bragging. This bike scares the $hit out of me!" That said, there are some great UA-cam videos of everything Husaberg, over 450CC, doing wheelies for days. Your 600 should provide you with prompt wheelies at low revs in 4th gear. The Brembo brakes make it stop as hard as it launches. Do not fan the clutch, or power shift, ever! Never do this! 😂😂😂😂 😳🔥🌟
There won't be a deer for miles!
Great bike to ride!!
wow those cr60s are rare and hard to find
Sure are.
I had a 1976 back in the day. Ungodly loud, came with an optional silencer for woods riding, but you lost a ton of power. Pretty much an indestructible bike.
Sweet!!
Loved those Elsinores! Had a 79’ CR250R back in the day. Man! That thing would go like a bat outta hell and it sounded great the entire time.
True "GOAT"
The absolute worst comparison I’ve ever seen
What's the run time with the stock 50C 5000 mah 2S Battery ?
The Venom is very bad compared to losi, absolutely incontrollable and frustrating
The Venom VMX450 was astonishing. I still got mine with a lot of Hop-up. The optionnal brushless gyro of the Venom was the best I ever tested up to now.
I immediately recognized the the music from the last mx game I really played. Nice! It would be cool if lots of people get these and they see some consumer/aftermarket development. It would be interesting to see how good you could make one of these.
I can't believe the rear fork just one piece of aluminum is $100
Bought one of these off the showroom as a leftover in 1980 . It was either on the pipe or not, loved it .
Compare it to the RadioShack one and do a drive teat
That would be hilarious!
Considering the Losi is the newer of the two, it looks like the Venom has smoother & better dampening on the front and rear suspension. I did hear that Losi has a factory suspension upgrade coming out for purchase.
Yes! Heard that as well.
Looks same but the losi has upgraded goodness
Lots of upgraded goodness!
So we know the same bike been out they took somebody els ideal
Losi took an old idea and improved it!
surprisingly similar, at least on the outside
Right, Lol
I prefer the look of the venom rider. The losi one looks a little large to me.
Very similar interesting
Your front brake on the losi is out of alignment/needs adjusting. It should be able to turn free like the venom without the brake dragging.
Waste off time...
Why’s that?
hey, man, great video i hope everything is going good
Thanks for showing us the bikes side by side. Nice vintage Kyosho bike
Those are all sweet love the comparison. Can’t wait to get mine and rip it up.
Gotta love that sound! Great looking bike!
A great racer. A great gentleman. We miss you Marty.
I still have my 85 XR 600 R . I bought it brand new back in May of 85. Bulletproof. BTW in 83 they made 2 versions of that XR 200 R.
dont be afraid to ride that clutch in a higher gear..
Nice little bike, sounds great! Take that case cover off and bring it to a prop repair shop and I’m almost positive they could repair it for relatively inexpensive. Definitely worth fixing. I had a 79’ cr250r Elsinore. Great bike!! Wish I still had it.
in 1982, 83, 84, I was working part time as a motorcycle salesman in a Honda shop. A very busy shop just before the Harley tariff completely destroyed the motorcycle industry in this country driving over 1100 dealerships out of business in the first two years alone, 7700 jobs were lost because of that Harley tariff.. But before the tariff when motorcycles were cheap. 1982, Honda offered its large dealerships leftover CR 125s, still in the crates, they were Unsold in the warehouses on the East Coast. Brand new you could have one of these motorcycles for $500.. that sounds cheap right now but in 1982 that was a lot of money. they also offered brand new. I don’t remember if it was the 250s or the 500s, dirt bikes. I don’t know if they were playing bikes or the motocross bikes, but they were also $500 for a brand new one, they were leftovers two years old.
In 1984 I bought a new 81 CR250 for $400. If was inventory of a shop that had closed.
in the way back time, Arthur had this model and ruled the neighborhood until little Tony got a 78 RM 80 and could lay waste to the Elsinore, then came thee YZ invasion and obviously things had a new pecking order
That’s about how I remember it
I bought a 1974 brand new it cost $680 out the door.
3 oz s of cox airplane fuel to a gallon of gas and don't forget to put a little oil in ✅🇺🇸🤣
Can't ride and stupid reving for nothing
Sounds like a rocket
This makes me miss my 76 elsinore 250
Awesome!!
My first good bike! Got one of those out the crate in79 payed a whopping 625 for it. What a angry bee those are! Get her up to 10,000 rpm and go through the gears .trying to remember but weren't those 24hp? At 185lb and the gears they used you could hole shot just about any other bike. My dad bought a first year 750 virago and we raced down the street. I blew his door's until I hit the top speed of 55?60? And here he comes!!!! Was just looking at a picture of me on it as I hadn't even riden it yet. 13years old Damm I looked good ( hahaha) Anyways you riding that makes me smile and I'm hoping you love it as much as I did. I literally rode the paint off that bike and it meant so much!!!! Peace Friend
Thank you for sharing! This is the funnest bike ever! I hope to make as many memories as all of you have in the past!
LIKE! LIKE! LIKE! So Cool!
Looking good. keep practicing..need a little more lean, really get down on the foot peg. A common mistake was to replace the 22" stock tires with heavy 22" replacements, on a rider I prefer a more square 20" tire. 200x is right at the brink of not having the power to spin them big things with proper corner entry and the right tires it will reduce that squirrely feeling LONG LIVE THE HONDA ATC
Thank you for the advice! Purchased this from someone recently. Hoping soon to put 20” tires on the rear for more slide. I’ll get the technique down soon!
Oh yeah! Back at it again!
