This is the first 7 miles of the January 11, 2025 runDisney Half Marathon at Walt Disney World that took place during runDisney Marathon Weekend 2025. I started in the 2nd wave of corral A, and this run includes all character stops (except for the first) -- that is, until my camera battery died just after mile 7. But these first miles include the trek from EPCOT center to the Magic Kingdom, goes down Main Street and through Cinderella's Castle, and ends shortly after leaving the TTC outside of the park.

I'm new to trying to record and share running content, and this was my first somewhat successful recording at a runDisney event. Since these races start well before sunrise, it's generally pretty dark, and lightweight action cameras tend to not do well with a stable shot in low light conditions. I found that using a head mount made a big difference, and being sure to have low light modes working correctly. This was filmed using a DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro.
I'm not the fastest or best runner, and if there hasn't been a character stop in a while, I take walking breaks. I successfully completed my 2nd Dopey Challenge this year (5k + 10k + this half marathon + full marathon) so taking it easy on half day is important to make it through the full the next day!
