So I was in country with the 75th regiment C company, second battalion, we heard about this place multiple times, but none of us believed it because it made no sense to put a combat outpost at the bottom of mountains. so none of us truly believed it until we finally got some photos and some video of this exact place and every single one of us said that outpost is gonna get hit really hard one day and sure enough about 28 days later they got hammered

I have a question. Does a veteran receive financial compensation for telling his or her story on a UA-cam video? Does all income made by viewers of these UA-cam videos go entirely to the veterans institute? Thank you for these heroes and their stories. Greetings from The Netherlands

I don't believe his story, he feels guilty bcs he knows he ran away, a coward. He should have not got a medal and refused it.

I did my OSUT training at Fort Sill as a 13B Artillery soldier in 2005. I remember seeing Sammy's plaque and that he was a MOH recipient as an Artillery soldier but didn't know much about his citation for his actions. Years later after I did my own tour in Iraq and was discharged I came across this interview and instantly recognized his face from that plaque. I've watched this interview at least 10 times. Sammy is such a humble man and the way he tells this story of him and all his Artillery brothers brought me to tears. What a great man

Thank you for your service to our Country. Thank you for your dedication to your fellow brothers. Thank you most of all for your example of bravery and selfless valor, and for protecting our freedoms. Freedom is a priceless sword that is double edged. May those that wish to take our freedom and enslave us find the price too costly to strip us of it. Thank you and God bless. Thank you sir.

Fast forwards to modern day 2023 nearing 2024... and we see still, i refuse to bash, shame or fault any of our warriors! Im not here to argue their worth or their cost, thats MY FREEDOM they EARNED all my RESPECT for serving. BUT i cannot Thank them for the WAR they participated in unknowing or knowingly that the war they fought is wrong or honestly not our fight. To this i do not support our gernerals and upper military who is decorated BY DOING NOTHING and being but a FRAUDULENT FAKE in a world of peace. They need to get connected with their good ole boots on the ground and work their ways back up. Not just be put in positions. That needs to stop

Another Vietnam veteran propaganda video ?? This is all that really mattered about this guy's story. He was a chump and a pawn of his Government and the military/industrial complex. He was an invader and oppressor in someone else's country that did nothing to Americans or the US. It wasn't his fight. He didn't belong there. He had no right to be there. He did his part to enable America to be in a war 11 years that did nothing but bring loss, waste and conflict to the American people. Therefore...he is not a hero or someone's victim. And yet he rates a video on UA-cam like the other clown's who did what he did.

I loved that Sammy Davis had been a true team player and went beyond the call of duty. His true love was displayed in battle, and his loyalty helped save lives of fellow soldiers. I respect his closing comments about the Medal of Honor. My salute to him and those Americans who faithfully served in Vietnam. Thank the Lord God.
