A short bit of nonsense as I try to master the use of settings and filters. I am experimenting with ND1000 on a gopro to get daytime trails then using a filter to compensate when it didn't work - I know I was on the wrong ISO but corrected that later - just found doing something with one that 'didn't work' interesting.

I visited Seaside Los Jameos in Lanzarote as part of a big, three generation holiday. I was very impressed with the help, standards and quality and wanted to share it with others. I should add that it is about to be refurbished so that some parts may look tired. I would also add that even on the all inclusive package the drinks were well known brands.

I was looking at old photos with my granddaughter and found this old video of explosions over Kyiv. But this isn't war. It is the New Year celebrations of happier times. Filmed from the same hotel that news reporters later gave their reports of the Russian invasion. It was one of the best New Years I have had. Such a beautiful city, such a crime that is happening now. My thoughts are with Ukraine.
