“Kahve” is the turkish word for coffee which the universal terms “cafe” and “coffee” and all of its cognates are based off of. Thus the origins of the word coffee are stronger tied to Turkish linguistically than arabic. If it were loaned from arabic we would be calling it cowa. So it’s much more accurate to say the word comes from turkish than arabic. As the similarities between kahve and cafe/coffee are much closer than even the Turkish “kahve” is to arabic “qahwa”
