Your video popped up for my algorithm and just wanted to offer some general advice for DPS in this game: * Always use your "buffs" (damage increase) as soon as it is available to use. Not just the start of the fight, but continuously after that. It'll either be 1 minute, or 2 minutes for a lot of stuff. In the case of your Archer fighting Ifrit, that means Raging Strikes. You used it somewhat early in the fight, but then it was able to be reused and you did not reuse it for the rest of the fight from what I can tell. No job in the game has a damage buff that you shouldn't within moments (2-4 seconds) right after it comes off cooldown. * Use your "pure cooldown" abilities like Sidewinder and Bloodletter (or Rain of Death if fighting 3 or more enemies) as much inside of the damage increase buffs during the opener. So basically buff first, then use all of these skills as soon as possible after. At the start of your Ifrit fight, you used those skills first, then triggered your buff increase when all there was to do was Heavy Shot. Think about it this way, if you're going to increase the size of paycheck by 15%, do you want to do that on a $100 or a $1000 paycheck? That's why you buff first, then explode all of your straight damage skills as much as you can. * Though there are situations where maybe holding onto to some pure damage skill a little longer to fit inside a buff can make sense for a job, while learning, you should basically see anything that becomes as available as a cue to "use it now" and you'll be right way way more often than it might not be. Aside from learning jobs at a high level (80 and above perhaps), there's hardly anything you should be holdi
