Your doctor really wasn’t helpful. There are over 20 medications for MS. She should have discussed the risks and benefits of all of those and discussed non-drug lifestyle changes to try simultaneously.

I’m not so good at these replies! I didn’t know where to go to reply.. im learning. Agreed I didnt get the help I needed and agree 200% with all the useful lifestyle + diet changes that should have been talked about… I follow these now strictly at the same their negligence is what eventually led me on the path to stop this disease for good and I am a believer that life sends you what you need for your journey.

Good to hear you're doing better. I said it before and I"ll say it again, Avoid All Inflamatory Food n Drinks + Excercise Often (walks, push ups, stretching, jogging, etc) and Sleep. Give your body what it needs in order to heal itself. Man made drugs are not full proof in this MS arena. A friend who makes the drugs confided in me that "they don't work" and he expressed a lot of interest in how I was doing without drugs/"medication". It sucks, but at least I got rid of fatigue, attacks, and other issues people with MS experience. (and that's not to say I haven't experienced it. I've experienced almost all the horrifying events MS dishes out. Stay Strong. Stay Positive. You're no drug companies stastic or ghini pig.Remember, if you eat something and it gives you a por reaction, stop eating it. Last night I had popcorn and it made my stomach hurt. That will be the last time I cheet and eat popcorn (with salt and butter).

Agreed on the diet and listening to your body. Quite disturbing about your friend although I suspected that for a long time. The data is very much manipulated in the studies

Hearing that the Doctor didn't offer any valuable guidance (besides pushing the drug they probably profit on) reminds me of how my nuerologists didn't ever bring up foods, exercise, and sleep as an important factor. Just the drug, and then if I said yes, they drug company would be calling me by the time I got home! They failed my questions. Lots of red flags with drug companies, especially ones for MS. - As someone with MS, I stopped having attacks as soon as I adobted the mshop diet (best bet diet) . Most importantly, learn about what you CAN and CANNOT eat. Our human bodies are amazing, but with MS we change a little and become extra vulnerable to certain foods. Like MILK. Stop Drinking Milk and all dairy.

Hi Dave! Thanks for your input yes I agree with you on many levels! ESP the diet and dairy- I have also completely cut all cow derived foods and limit processed wheat in North America. I have found it helps tremendously. We really have to listen to our bodies, we hear the feedback first and they are truly marvelous machines. I have also dealt with my fair share of drug reps. Take care!

Thank you thank you, and well done on managing to put your story out there despite all the obstacles! People struggling with MS today really need to hear this, they will not get this perspective from their doctor.

@RS actually my family is from very nearby and my father has also been telling me to go to kotttakal Arya vaidya- another old Ayurveda center. I will keep both in my mind.. as of now I have two young kids and it’s not so easy to get extended time to go from Canada due to work etc.. I hope when they are older!! Thank you for this recommendation 🙏🏽!!
