I fixed the height adjustment on mine with a five cent ziptie. Never had another issue.

When you place the tweels on scag XL 52, does this affect your cut ? I spoke with scag customer service and they mentioned the grass but might be off since the tweels are the same size of a 61 inch mower wheels placed on a 52 “ mower . Are you having this issue ? Thanks

Tweels should NOT be the price they are ! They can’t cost that much more to manufacture than regular tires and that’s why I don’t run them at all .

We bought two sr450 bk packs bc those 430’s I been having a problem with two out of the 3 brand new ones leaking out the lids and soaking our techs. We changed the obvious fix in the rubber gaskets but nope. It seems to be a pressure issue. However, a sertified Stijl tech looked at em 3 times n finally decided they are replacing the tanks on our already brand new blowers. We’re here in Columbus and blacklick Ohio’s Buckeye Powersale’s is dealing with it but we pray it works correctly. The new 450’s I honestly like better. Having said that though my 1st 430 going on 3 seasons of shittin and gettin with minor maintenance such as cleaning spark arrestor , clean the washable filter, and spark plug, and run store bought stihl 50:1 and empty tanks and run it through every once in a while. Me at least once every 2 weeks probably bc it’s all I use. Good machine though. I wrote this just in case anyone else is having the same leaking issues

Great video. You found one thing you dont like about scag…the prices😂 i just financed a new one and I can attest to that. Mine was 14.5! But thank god my father paid half of it to lower my monthly payment or else i would have not been able to get it this season. I asked him to cosign but he wanted to help me. So right out the gate i owe just over 7k. About 190 a month.

So awesome! Im picking up my first scag/first commercial mower hopefully soon i bought it yesterday. It the XL 52” 40HP vangaurd. Very very similar to this! I hope to triple my client base with it.

Absolutely the best customer service. I have called them multiple times and Mike Floyd has always walked us through everything. Matt is great as well as, Scott, Kyle and Kodi. Great video. We did the same on the filter on our 52 a couple years and does make a difference.

the wider rear wheels helps to disperse the weight so rutting is not an issue, correct? i am looking at a 36" do small yards with stupids small gates. how is the comfort? i am 56 and after 15 years of sitting i am concerned this could be painful standing so much? pls advise
