Just got one of these. I'd send it back it wasn't a catalogue return that I boight cheaply. The quality of this thing is best described as ropey - I'll give it a dozen uses before something gives. The saw bar & chain are not Oregon branded - the chain is flimsy & nothing like the quality of the one on my full sized ( and cheap ) chainsaw. This is yet another manufacturer that details the reach from the very end of the handle to the tip of the hedge trimmers - this has no bearing on reality. Will add a comment when it breaks. 😉

It's very difficult to use, mine isn't turning on either. I want to return it and pick another brand. Am disappointed though.

Update on why machine won't go into auto removed filter and removed small screw and plastic panel in centre that houses the sensor /pcb removed and cleaned with a small paint brush. Switched on machine without sensor and displayed E1 error code but still functions if that helps anyone with that code fault. Reassemble and retest and hey presto works into auto mode and that's good enough for me till it breaks again.

My machine after four years of ownership will not go into auto mode and constantly operates till 40 humidity and I switch it off manual to save power Can you get parts for these machines or return to supplier for repair or are we just going to dispose of item in our throwaway society and buy a new one My last ebac machine lasted 30 years and it was still working but was ugly even after a new wooden case and upcycled repaint the days of brown furniture

Pile of rubbish.. Had mine just over 12 months and it started to show the CL on the display.. It's the thermostat sensor that needs replacing.. There designed to fail just after the warranty is up.. Total scam..

Please can you upload a video of how to disassemble and reassemble the machine for cleaning etc

It is missing the air filtration sponge/cloth! You can see there are plastic clamps on all sides of the door to hold the filter. But you didn't put any filter in! How stupid is that? The insides of the device will get clogged so soon. I bought one of these from Ebay, it's missing the filter, just like the one in the video. I'll have to use a filter from my old Lidl dehumidifier, it almost fits, needs a small trim.

I’m thinking about buying a 2 in 1 Pole Hedge trimmer and Chainsaw. But I’m concerned because it’s 2 in 1, is it secure enough, and is it possible for the Chainsaw attachment to come loose during operation, when I’m cutting a high hedge in my garden, cutting through a 10-20mm branch and the Chainsaw attachment falls down on my head? 🚨 🚑 🆘

Thank you, but WHY OH WHY OH WHY don't you put instructions in the manual? There is literally nothing in there about the chain, not everyone has access to UA-cam.

Shame they don't give any instructions in the box it comes in how to do this. Also it arrives with NO oil so you can't use it straightaway. Mine also arrived with a twisted chain. Sent the whole thing straight back - really poor product.
