Just ride your local green and blue trails first. Get comfortable on your bike and learn basic bike skills. Pinkbike has a how to bike series on UA-cam that I recommend. Jumps take a lot of risk reward analysis. This is my first season where I am comfortable hitting jumps

It's a good all around trail bike. It can definitely handle jumps. I have taken on 20ft table jumps and it feels fine but its definitely not a freeride bike. If you like jumps maybe look into an enduro bike

@@MeanGene_MTB I can handle like 13 foot gaps and around that size table so I think the bike is good for most jumps but not the massive ones. Thank you for the advice

@@mtb_robert85 yeah, you should be fine. I personally have my enduro bike for anything over 20ft

@@MeanGene_MTB is the polygon d7 an enduro or is that more of like a trail/dh bike

@@mtb_robert85 the D7 is a downcountry bike with less travel. Definitely wouldn't recommend that for aggressive trail riding or jumps

I was able to record 5-6 hours of footage at the bike park on a single battery with 15% left. It wasn't continuous recording

I actually didn't slow down. It was my second run and I was trying to get the timing down. You have to boost pretty good to clear the step up

I use DaVinci Resolve. I haven't had any issues with it

​@@steezydream I think my footage in YT has been pretty close to the original. I render my video with high bit rate and 4k resolution

@@steezydream youtube will always look worse than your original videos, but to get the best look in youtube make sure to upload in 2k or higher. It will compress high res high bit rate videos less. Videos that are 1080 and lower get compressed harder unless you do 1080 60fps

I started MTB in 2021 and Snow Valley was my first bike park last year. I definitely think it's a little easier than Snow Summit. Keep shredding

I mount the DJI on the chin of my full face helmet. Shot in 4k 30fps with rocksteady stabilization.

The GoPro is great but I was having too many issues as well. So far the DJI OA3 has been great.

Thanks for watching. Thankfully I haven't spent much extra on the bike, I had spare parts. As for the camera, I have not had focusing issues. I don't know how to find the manufacturing date but I did buy it the day before this video.

@@MeanGene_MTB Well I guess your bike is as good as a brand new car. Thank for you for the response. I'm still deciding whether I'll get the dji action 3 or the gopro 11. The focusing issue is the main reason why I'm still hesitating to get one. I would love to see more of your biking videos. You're awesome man and pls. keep it safe.

@@shingenozumi905 I don't think you can go wrong with either. I wanted to try DJI because of the magnetic mounts and for reliability of the camera. I heard about the focusing issue but I read it was alleviated with the latest update. Thanks for watching. Hoping to get more videos out for this years bike season.

I didn't bottom out but I am running 3 volume tokens to prevent bottom out. I personally like the siskiu T8 but I have changed the suspension. I am running 160mm Lyrik in the front. I mainly use it as my trail bike. I have my siskiu N7 for park riding and I prefer than over my T8 for park riding. The T8 is capable but it really depends on what type of riding are you going to be doing mostly. If its trail riding with jumps then get the T8, if you are doing park riding then get the spectral 29. Check out my snow summit bike park video to see how my siskiu T8 handled, those are way bigger jumps.

@@MeanGene_MTB how is the feel with 20mm more travel? Does it change the bike a lot?

@@cs.adventures I am on the 27.5 version of the T8, it came with 150mm stock. I don't notice a negative difference, it is a lot more forgiving when I start pushing the bike with speed, jumps, and drops. I have definitely pushed the bike and it has handled everything
