This absolutely amazing!! Now I can’t wait til I get the new deck so I can do this and having a fun moving deck. Sadly I missed out on the dice and cd cards but hopefully when the backerkit comes out I can snag them. Along with several other things I missed out on. Also where did you get the big box from?

How do you get decks that are so close to the same size? Do you just buy a bunch of decks?
Great question! You can check out my other video here: ua-cam.com/video/dFryHodQML8/v-deo.html The short answer is I'm part of a Facebook group called the Alley whose members swap cards to create patchwork decks like these. If I get a card that's too big, I trim it down to size.

I went through my Alleyman tarot tonight and took out some cards that just don't resonate. I still feel a pull to keep them just because they were part of the original deck. So silly I know. Great points! I'm thinking of discussing patchwork decks with my tarot circle. Thanks for the great video

I love the idea. My only concern is that I have an animistic approach to decks (one deck, one entity,(( I know it's crazy for 99/💯 of people😂)) and I don't know how it would affect decks if you split them...sigh.
If a patchwork deck is something you are interested in building, maybe talk to your decks first and ask them if they are okay with being split up. Or purposefully seek out decks that you don't feel a strong connection with to trade cards from to build your deck (check out my video on how to build a patchwork deck for other ideas). I will say that my mixed decks have a personality all their own!
