Are salmon any tasty when they get to that red-skinned snaggletooth phase of their life?

The title of this needs some work. Those spawning fish are Red Salmon (Sockeyes) not Atlantic Salmon.

So, the Pacific Salmons & other fishes have started drinking the 7800 tons of nuclear wastewater. 7800 x 239.65 = 1.87 million gallons Japan has begun discharging into the Pacific Ocean since 8/24/2023 & for the next 17 continuous days. The Pacific salmons et al will continue drinking these nuclear wastewater over the next 7 months before they swim back to the rivers of Alaska and Canada to spawn, in 7-8 month’s time. American and Canadian fishermen will be catching and selling them to the US, Canadian & other countries consumers. By next Spring, in 2024, your family will likely be eating nuclear wastewater Salmons (they have no choice. It was forced on them). Our Pacific Salmon family will continue consume more and more of these radioactive wastewater in the next 35 years. That’s right! Japan plans to discharge this same amount of nuclear waste into the Pacific Ocean annually until 2058! This also means that the quality of our Salmon will get worse and worse each year. Who knows what will happen to their genetics? Who knows what will happen to your body when you eat these nuclear wastewater fed salmons? Their life cycle will be disrupted.Their genes will changed. Don’t think that Japan’s irresponsible actions has no consequences on you or your family, the bears, the eagles & other wildlife, planktons etc eating these salmons. After spawning, their toxic, dead disintegrated bodies also feed plant life too. You get the picture now? Watch this documentary to see who else might be affected. What are you going to do about it? Are we gonna let these bad things happen to our salmons, to all wildlife and to us? PS if it’s as safe as Japan claims, why are they not disposing it into their own lakes? Why? Bcoz the cheapest and fastest way to get rid of it is to pour them into the ocean. Everyone else, BE Dam*ed! Oh, an executive from Tokyo Electric admitted the nuclear wastewater being discharged IS BELOW safety standards by 66%. That the official statistics given were false. Blame our government too. They knew the truth yet CHOSE to HIDE it bcoz PLAYING politics & OUR lives are more important. If we keep quiet about it, Mother Nature will come back to bite us in the worst possible way.

Perfect way to snag or dip net. Unless they were gonna plan on taking it home or not, it’s a good time to actually catch a Sockeye. Although those people are probably there watching look, so yeah I understand. Not everybody wants to fish. It’s just better to watch them to heck I’m watching them right now.

do you go perch fishing there , i heard there are a lot of perch there.

Just caught a 23 inch largemouth yesterday at Marsh Creek from the shore. Thing was a beast! Not 10 minutes later I got a 26 inch Tiger Muskie and then a 13.5 inch smallmouth. All on a bleeding shad spinner.

Medium size shiners bought from GORDONS bait shop. They rock there. My son got a 21 1/2 inch largemouth at marsh creek when he was about 8 or so
