My first fingerboard contests ever !
This was my first time competing in a fingerboard event! We had to drive 4 hours to Minneapolis for usafbl sanctioned event, hosted by hangtime board shop.

I competed in 2 contests. The best street run, which was really fun. I was very shaky, got 8th place. Not bad for my first time.

And I competed in the best trick, which I stomped down first try 💪😅 couldn’t ask for a better land!
But unfortunately I was only placed 5th in that contest. Still had a lot of fun , and learning experiences, I will be back for more 😎🔥.

@@brokenfingerfb7719 definitely one of my favorites, such a clean setup! I try my best not to kill this setup lol
The new trucks they use are extremely good for the pricetag… That looks exactly like the ASI shop trucks 3.0 and those are amazing for the 15€ they came for, just put in beta bushings and they are on the same level like brts… the biggest issue imo from the old china trucks is that the axis was too long for single bearing wheels, but that is on this trucks no issue anymore, have only one set of wheels (cheap fake urethan wheels) from spitboards which are rattling, everything else fits just perfect like on brts… Use them now on most of my setups and have no plans to change that cuz they just work perfectly… So big recommendation for the trucks… The boards are pretty fine as well, just the apex wheels are game of luck, so softer once are nearly perfect (when you like softer wheels) but the harder wheels (everything over 65d) have issues with bearingslip and that’s just unacceptable for this high price… At least here in Germany they cost more or less the same like Illpills and for this bearing slip is an absolutely nogo in my eyes… Have testet the 61 or 60d (still pefect) and the 70d fast spin street wheels, the 60er still on my outdoor setup and lovely in use but the 70d are just on a decoration setup with no use at all… I really hate bearing slip and can’t get over it, when my setup has bearing slip i just must change the wheels cuz it don’t work out for me…
@@Eddy_E. dannng!!! I haven’t tried any of the harder formulas, so haven’t had a bearing slip issue yet. That is super annoying for sure. I would at least let teak know , I’m sure they will replace your set . Normally I’ll ride the 65d and lower . The 61D is definitely my go to. It has the right grip and squeak that doesn’t destroy the earlobe lol. I’ve had flat face that I got a year ago, they were the T9 special og formula, I couldn’t even ride it because of the major bearing slip. . I also keep in mind, for some reason cream or tan color wheels feels the best. Not sure if the color dye messes with things but I try to stick to the basic boring tans
