Bonjour et Joyeux Noel 🎄 aux Paris 😊, arrived safely in the French capital 2 days ago onboard Air France 🇫🇷, it was a 14hr 50min nonstop flight from Manila flew into Southern China then to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan the Central Asian countries unheard of the same route taken by the 13th Century Venetian merchant and explorer Marco Polo then crossing the Caspian Sea towards Azerbaijan and Georgia then over the Black Sea above Northern coast of Turkiye then enter Romania onwards to France. It was a pleasant flight with a welcome champagne 🥂 and a 3 course meal🍷🍽️ got a Filet Mignon as main course 😋 Oh La La there's even a Self Service Buffet and Bar at the back of Business Class where I was seated, I was very well looked after by the helpful cabin crew led by Anne Claire and Jean Louis, landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 6:00am Central European Time. Currently staying in the Paris district of Saint Germain enjoying the sights and sounds of the City of Lights despite the fact it's winter just visited the newly restored Cathedral de Notre heading via the TGV train to Lyon next week, be back in Manila this January along with my friend Alain a Frenchman who wants to visit the Philippines. Joyeux Noel 🎄 et Bonne Année 🎆.

They used to be the best in economy, at least 20-30 years ago. The economy meals used to be served on huge trays with a porcelain dish for the main course and plenty of good food and drinks. Wow nice to see they have brought back hot towels, aperitif with snacks, cheese and crackers withe the meal that is back to a three course and of course, metal cutlery thats more sustainable than the wooden or plastic ones.

10:56, Airasia's food is good and delicious, it's the best. Last July, I flew Airasia Philippines from Kuala Lumpur to Manila, I pre order a meal, called, Uncle chin's chicken rice, it taste so good and delicious, it's 1 of the best.

Bonjour mes amis, my upcoming travel on Air France 🇫🇷 to Paris Charles de Gaulle from Manila could get even better, my Premium Economy round trip ticket could be upgraded to Business Class for just under €500 luckily still have funds to spare but on this flight expect in-flight service and their exquisite cuisine Par Excellence and a glass 🥂 of Möet et Chandon or Dom Perignon. C'est La Vie😊.

Totally not fun if there's no personal IFE

Nice trip report. I rarely see the A321 flight to ICN or NRT on UA-cam because the night flights are much more convenient for transit or tourist, and also these are operated by Vietnam Airlines’ widebodies like A350 or the Dreamliners. Thanks for sharing your experience. Their W-IFE is more limited than IFE on the widebodies, however, I find the IFE on widebodies is still not enough. Liked and subscribed

7K roundtrip airfare on VN is a good grab of price considering it is a legacy carrier. The price can fairly compete with 5J's offering. I hope VN's route in Philippines will grow until it becomes daily flight both HAN and SGN. Nice flight review vlog!

Hi, I just stumbled upon your Vietnam Airlines flight review before watching this one, and I gotta say, your review was packed even if it's quite shorter compared to other flight review vlogs. Now, I just subscribed to your channel. Anyway, since you only had an economy class ticket, I'm just curious how did you enter the T1 Mabuhay Lounge, since as far as I can remember, only business/comfort class ticket holders and/or Mabuhay Miles members can gain access there. Perhaps, you registered with the myPAL Lounge program? Anyway, checking out the prices, those are too steep if I were a PAL economy class ticket holder and I'd rather go to the food stalls readily available in the airport, or better yet, I'd rather be a business class ticket holder to fully enjoy the lounge experience. As far as your question at the beginning is concerned, I guess PAL can still redeem itself. Sure, there will be new A350-1000s coming in the next few years, but in the meantime, PAL should really focus on cabin consistency. Now that we just heard from the airline that it will refurbish its classic A321s (which is a great news for me, considering that in all my international flights onboard these narrowbodies, it was quite unpleasant given the lack of IFEs and the cramped legroom), it would be much better if the A330s should be next in line, given that, thanks to the same conglomerate behind NNIC, some still sport the LCC-style cabin (3-3-3 in economy and premium economy, 2-2-2 in business class) and, strangely, there are also some that sport a "hybrid" cabin, as the airline calls it: same premium economy and economy cabin but with the newer 1-2-1 business class featured on its A350-900s and fully-refurbished A330s. Same goes with their 777-300ERs, as some have the newer 2-class cabin, some feature the older version of it like the one in this video, and some are former Garuda Indonesia planes that feature a much appropriate 1-2-1 business class. While I am optimistic with what's coming to PAL in the next few years, I can't help but to rate it lower compared to other carriers. Sure, the signature TLC of the cabin crew is top notch and the newer planes are great, but everything else probably aren't. Not to mention, it faces stiff competition with other local carriers, especially Cebu Pacific which consistently gains new aircraft after another, so PAL needs to catch up URGENTLY. Nice review, by the way! 😊

Philipine is the only country in Asia I consider to be westernize society . However ,at the international airport , they need to have variety of foods to serve tourist such as : Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japan, Korean. Western tourist come to Philipine and Asia not to eat American junk foods: Mcdonald, KFC, Krespy Kreme, Burger King , Starbuck. The Philipinoy can not say to the world American foods belong to them or they are American people . You become a clown in the eye of western tourist

I’m pleased that the route has new competitors and VN appears to be a fairly quality airline. However, not too impressed with the look of that food!
