I have replied this on another comment, but I will say it again: if I had it my way (Ollie just pretending to be evil to stop the bad guys), the antidote would have worked while doubts would’ve been present, and through allowing Amelia to read his mind, he’d tell her he loves her too and that the capturing of the Morphin Masters didn’t seem too run-of-the-mill to him and he feels that the team needs eyes and ears on Lord Zedd and his newfound resources.

Who knows? However, it didn’t seem like what he did to her left a scar… Then again, she is an alien so once again: who knows?

I was honestly hoping that they would do this in Cosmic Fury. A little cliche, I envisioned Amelia being backed into a corner with the evil Ollie ready to destroy her. Recalling how her saying she had feelings for him managed to jolt him awake from the effects of the evil poison back in Season 2, she would assume a stronger gesture could have the same result. She manages to dodge Ollie's attack, and grabs him by his face, and kisses him. Her act of love is too much for the spell, which soon breaks.

@@Unversed333 I’d be here for it! Amelia already brought her parents back from the dark side with the power of love, she could totally do it again. Breaking the spell by exploding the evil triceratops statue works fine for what it is, but something more character oriented has merits too.

@@Unversed333 I was thinking the antidote would actually work, but it would cause temporary amnesia as a side effect and that’s why Ollie flips out once he wakes up, but they mistake it for the antidote not working, Ollie recalls the battle prior to getting cured and instantly thinks that something is not right and this team needs eyes and ears on the enemy, you still get Amelia being skeptical about it as Ollie approaches her, but he lets her read his mind and we get a voiceover monologue as Lord Zedd begins attacking Dinohenge. Ollie: “Amelia please listen, I love you, even when I’m evil, I love you, something isn’t right if the Morphin Masters got captured, I get the feeling that there’s more to his plot than universal domination. Outside, Javi gets Fern inside the base thinking she’d be safe. Amelia: “Ollie, What do you mean? What are you talking about?” Outside, Lord Zedd beats everyone back. Ollie: “Someone has to do something to stop whatever Lord Zedd has in store. Ollie and Amelia fake a fight once they’re outside. Amelia (voiceover): “But he’ll hurt you if you do this and he finds out about you… or worse, there has to be another way.” Lord Zedd starts destroying the Dino statues one by one until Ollie’s remains. Ollie (voiceover): “I’m sorry, Babe, if there is another way, there is no time to think of one.” Then Ollie stops Lord Zedd from destroying his statue in exchange for his “loyalty” towards him and when asked how Lord Zedd knows it’s not an attempt at deception, he throws the sword at Amelia, it nicks her in the cheek, it cuts to Ollie looking devastated at what he’s done, despite knowing it was the only way to successfully attempt deception (Lord Zedd would be too busy looking at Amelia and her reaction to notice this), the other Rangers get inside, Solon and Billy press the failsafe teleport-as-far-as-possible button, another close-up of Ollie, this time looking relieved that his team and especially Amelia is safe, Ollies’s ruse to find out what’s what begins.

I read that Netflix was very willing to allow a 20 episode season to be made. Hasbro chose to the episode count in half so that they could production done in two months. One episode that was cut would have involved Fern temporarily breaking up with Fern. Izzy was being too protective of her, and it rubbed Fern the wrong way.

I think the show deserved at least 10 more episodes. I wanted to see more cameos from characters in previous seasons, and I hoped for an episode where Minh Kwan teams up with the Rangers. It would have been great to see the last episode focus on Minh's story of forming her own team of rangers, perhaps even recruiting JJ.

@@katelinlaxa Yeah, definitely should have included Minh. I liked having Billy in place for Ollie, but if they had Minh, they would have had a complete set of Rangers colors (barring White, Silver, and Purple)
