The Neil Sedaka death announcement at 37:08 was horrible, and not correcting it until 43:45 with a wildly offensive "joke" in the pre-internet era on one of the nation's most-heard radio stations is beyond disgusting. Ingram passed away in 2018. Sedaka survives him.

Fascinating aircheck! Being from the midwest, I didn't have any knowledge of this station until hearing an aircheck several years ago. Jingle package sounds like it could be right out of the early '60's. Really appreciate the unscoped aircheck. Thank you!

My all time boss jock the clever Tom Maule! KGB, KYNO, KFRC, KHJ all heavy Drake stations, KDAY LA, others. He showed that Drake wasn't just liners and time/temperature 😊RIP

I'm thinking this was a Friday night show bc sometime back someone had an all airchecks station on live 365 and they played this show i do remember him playing James Brown cold sweat on that tape and 1 last thing do you have his Saturday morning show by chance?
