I can't help but feel this song outstays it's welcome by at least 20 minutes. Saw them at Cosmic Void where they started out with 2.10, followed by this track and that was their entire set.
@Lukanoos What surprises me is the lack of news from their new label Season of Mist. If a band on the roster has recorded new material, and even performing for the first time in years at select festivals, and with a new member...no idea why that wouldn't be announced prior to the festivals. And about the new material....is Dark -2.-2 strictly a festival/promo release? Is Dark III II still on its way? Why do we have to wait until early 2024 for the official release 😞
@@PadanFain-yp2yz yeah they're very secretive, it adds to the mystery but its kinda old and annoying at this point and im sure many fans have fallen off, which is a shame, they're a band that needs way more attention
@@MrDamburger Way more attention, indeed, considering they pioneered cosmic BM, and heavily influenced other respected artists like Spectral Lore, Mare Cognitium, Midnight Odyssey, Progenie Terrestre Pura, etc, the list goes on. As for the mystery, I can't exactly disagree with you, since fans have known who Wroth is for quite some time, and over the last year it's finally been revealled who Zorgh is (due to her departure and time in the newer bands like Apokryphon and Thy Gnosis).
I'm a huge Darkspace fan and I have to say, if this song is gonna take up a huge chunk of the new album I'll be disappointed. I was actually about to blow a huge amount of money to see them at cosmic Void Fest (I'm from the U.S.) but I'm kind of glad I didn't if this took up most of their set. I guess only time will tell but man, their discography has been beyond flawless. I hope this new album doesn't change that.
@@comm1098 I find myself agreeing with alot of your sentiments. While I've gotten myself very acquainted with the new sounds and enjoy parts, it's not...of the same tier. Because yes, their catalogue is peerless IMO.
40 min. ambiant and repetitive riffs without blast new material track is clearly boring after a perfect discography in the past... Waiting for the the new album too, but I don't know what to expect.

@@PadanFain-yp2yz Prophecy Fest booklet says Dark Space -II is coming. It says 2023 but it's off the table apparently because you said 2024. Where did you get this info from btw? Speaking of III II, SOM website says it's still being worked on.

Yeeeees. Thank you so much for uploading this. I've been exploring all the videos posted by 2-3 different sources, and while I appreciate them, they've only been fragments of the whole alien transmission. You're the first to attempt an entire live cosmic event.

I was disappointed this time around, the sound was much better at the Prophecy concert. Still waiting for the new album to drop!
