Chemical Plant Zone - Countdown to Bad Future
Переглядів 167Рік тому
At first this was supposed to be a bad future version, but I thought the bad future version should be a little more different than this, so I just decided to go with this in between stage. Also, from now on when I write V1 in the title, it just means I may in future pick it up again, whether it's a small change, or a big change, good or bad change too. Hope you like the song, and if you do, let...
DW 80s Bassline Rec V1.1 & Logic Pro Settings Tutorial
Переглядів 469Рік тому
(The title of this video being V1.1 is an on purpose change from 1.5 as I realized this version is fairly similar to the first version, and in some ways is worse. Sorry lol) Both a showcase of the newest bassline version, and a Logic Pro specific settings overview. If you don't use Logic Pro, this tutorial will probably not make as much sense as the one I plan on making eventually, but this cou...

4 years in the making, but I finally got somewhere with this bassline that felt right, even though it will still be off (and will always be off). If you didn't/couldn't get my community post, I just want to again say a belated thank you to all those who subscribed, watched, liked, and commented over the years. I also want to thank the UA-cam channels "Sam 'Samtastic' Locke" and of course "The R...

Lazy Who Remaster (1980 theme of course!)
Переглядів 2,6 тис.3 роки тому
All credit goes to the BBC, Peter Howell, and The Timeless Nerd, who created this new opening and closing mix. I did some tweaking and of course added the most important ingredient: "REVERB"! Hope you enjoy, and like the video (make sure to check out The Timeless Nerd's video and give em a like as well)
GBWho: The 80s

Really, again? Another Howell GarageBand remake? Who is this guy, a perfectionist? (yes). In this one, I tried to actually match EQ, which was definitely a good idea. Not sure about midi (especially considering that I messed up some of the middle 8s midi, and I'm not quite sure who to make a proper midi file on GarageBand Mac as well).
Best 80s cliffhanger ive seen
wow...amazing
How many times am I allowed to Like this? A genius mix of old and new. I love it! 😀
Okay I need a full track version of this, it sounds awesome, I kinda wish they took this kinda risk with a new twist on the theme where im not just skipping through it but properly vibing with it
As someone who has never seen the Pyramids of Mars, I have to say that I agree with the nostalgia here. The original theme does unironically go pretty hard, although, you can still hear parts of the new theme in the background, which I think add to it, makes it more of a blend of the two instead of a straight replacement. And I think that’s why it works so well, because the two themes just, go well together. XD I will say maybe the volume could be adjusted a bit, it’s quite loud and hard to hear the characters at times. Still really good though.
The mix of the two soundtracks is a beautiful nightmare. Perfect.
I'd blend the incidental music into the closing theme for an extra second. The graphics for the second half are better, where it's not two different videos 50/50.
Cool, but why was rose in the credits after the doctor instead of ruby 😂
That's what confused me
Cuz it lined up better with the music to have Ruby in the more recognizable part of the music. If these were actual credits, the text would probably not line up with the visuals as much
@@jereloproduces9509 I'm sorry that makes zero sense, and None of the classic titles had the Other character's faces in
Love sutekhs eyes above Woolfs name, not as keen on the other characters. One note is that Pyramids of Mars ks 70s not 80s
Yeah, I know it was the 70s; I already did that version. But now I'm doing the 80s closing theme version (because I think it has the best cliffhanger sound)
The Makeup/CGI for Susan Triad reminds me of Vigo-possessed Peter from Ghostbusters 2.
Damn, that was actually fantastic
Thanks so much! What was your favorite part?
@@jereloproduces9509 Definitely the middle 8 part. The way the old school vortex turns into the new one and the more important supporting characters appeared had me wishing they showed character faces in the opening credits again.
Soooooo much better than the 'TO BE CONTINUED' stamped across the screen. Somebody tell the production team.
If someone make a brain rot version of the speech when harbinger introduces all of the gods I wouldn’t be surprised
Holy sh*t… This is incredible.
Yikes, that organ music!
I'm still holding out hope Murray Gold will surprise us with some Organ motifs next ep. I think before the reveal would've been too much of a giveaway. If they'd done the old Time Tunnel and outro music I think my inner child would've died of joy!
Oh spot on. Now it feels like Doctor Who. 🎉
I have shivers long my spine and goosebumps. With the organ music played by Sutekh's servant it would be just perfect. A lot of lost potential
Original edit reminded me of longliness of Slitheen's cliffhanger. Now there's at least a cool music 🤘
Perfect score
I just noticed: Ruby’s biological mum is getting less and less pixelated and more realistically 3D than the first time they did the Time Window as Sutekh returned… remember Ruby’s biological mum pointed to the memory of the Tardis and Sutekh then made his presence known, meaning Ruby might have a chance to talk to talk to her on how can they defeat Sutekh and banish him forevermore.
As in… like how the Maestro and Sutekh had harbingers, why cant there be a prophet who forewarned people about the incoming disaster/divine descents of gods. Maybe Ruby’s biological mum giving child away just so the Doctor can get a warning about what can happen. But the Doctor didnt get the right anagram and She sacrificed a life to be with her daughter just for the sake of her warning them. Even Ruby’s biological mum is even dressed similarly to a prophet in RPG’s.
More evidence for this is the fact that in the synopsis, it says 'except maybe one woman'
@@piggyfan6353 honestly haven’t read the synopsis that was my theory for what might, I kinda prefer to be surprised for what will come tbh hahaha
@thebakalord It could be Horus' harbinger given we don't know what happened fully to the Osirians
Errrrm yeah
Glad I'm not the only one who realises what a pile of dogshit this is.
This works SO WELL. ❤
Chilling. Nice job.
Why... does it work so well! AMAZING!
I’ll be rewatching before Friday…loved it all!
What font was used for the 70s credits, they look uncannily spot-on!
They're not THAT similar, but I used this "Plantagenet Cherokee" font. Idk, it's very niche. Any Serif font with a more fantasy kind of look will do, I think
@@jereloproduces9509 The original one they used in the 70s was called Della Robbia, you can find free downloads for it on the internet, I've used it before!
Im very sad Sutekhs sick organ music hasnt returned
Would've loved a new rendition of it with like some intense drums, and maybe some "Sutekh" chants. Hopefully there'll at least be a callback in the next ep
New theory. Ruby's mum is Anna Lapwood
This works more than it should
Aside from the cliffhanger, my personal favorite part is when the camera is spinning around Ruby. The music just syncs so well at that moment
Nice.
Shame this hasn’t got enough likes. I love making music on GarageBand. Spectacular job. 👍🏻👍🏻
This is pretty incredible...
Sounds great ,i wish cyan would give us something on the level of riven again,a proper point and click with pre rendered graphics but i guess its not going to happen
Very spooky, love it.
Definitely giving me high anxiety through the middle section with the fast paced notes. Creepy, but i like that you used the same tones and vibes from Robyn's original tracks.
❤ ☕
The sort of descending tones really add to the feeling of decay and malevolence. Sort of a 'Riven meets Teledahn underground'
Definitely wanted to capture an evil, ominous sounding vibe in this
You know you've done something right when the company you drew your inspiration from give you their approval. Congratulations on the recognition. I'll give you a follow for your great work!
Impressive
I'd swear that was an authentic Riven track. Really nice work.
Wow-fantastic work! You nailed the effect with your own spin on it! 👏😮 #GehnApproved
I think it deserves a spot somewhere in the Riven Remake. :)
Well made track, Jerelo! Definitely captured the spirit and also did something new too. Nice job🤙🏼
Beautiful! It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to open it in UA-cam 😂 but now I can listen to it in the background. This is definitely going on my Myst Music playlist!
Awesome!
This is great! I can imagine this was hard to make (as a music producer myself). I also love the little notes at 0:30. I would recommend putting a fade out on the audio, though.
R.I.P. Sid Sutton
could you do just like your howell theme but as a piano tutorial?
I don't know the ins and outs of the full thing, but yes, I could have the midi play most of it. The problem is that I have the free version of synthesia, which I'm pretty sure means I can't important the midi and have it play. Even if I could import the midi, I'd have to figure out how to get it all together properly, but I could do it. Good suggestion though. I'll have to figure it out. These piano tutorials were easier because I just played the tune on my keyboard, but the Howell theme is too complex for that/I suck at playing it with a keyboard
Been listening to this for a while now. Extremely cool!
Love this remix ❤
Love this ❤❤ They work well together. I’d like to hear your take on the Save The Day theme from the 50th, merged with the Debney theme, perhaps with the studio fish theme for Destiny Of The Doctors game. I think the Arnold theme may also work well with the James Bond style Dr Who theme by Mark Ayres in more than 30 years in the Tardis- 14 minutes in to the documentary.
Brilliant mix. Well done. ❤❤
Reminds me of Stranger Things
