Having problems currently created by tax act. We were told our 2019 taxes were received and accepted. Over year later irs is telling us we didn’t file our 2019 taxes. IRS claims they sent us a letter which I’ve never seen.

Sales tax is regressive. Lower bracket use more of their money thu paying more in tax. Solution to higher tax is just don’t be poor :(
Thank you for the videos, My prof left message on convas that her husband is in the last stages of fighting bladder/stomach cancer, so no classes no PPTs , I have learnt a lot from the videos.
I am from India and want to do a Certification course in US taxation, Can you please help me, From where I can do?
Thank you!
*Note:* The rules for handling alimony changed for agreements executed after 12/31/18. Given how recent it was at this video's release, I assume the associated textbook couldn't include it.
Scenario: Member contributes $100k capital to S-Corp. S-Corp profits $150k during year. AAA (Accumulated Adjustment Account) & basis are different. Only income increases AAA. AAA tracks undistributed retained earnings, not capital contributors/basis. Only distributions above your capital contributions portion of your basis where you start drawing from retained earnings shows in the AAA distributions calculation. So my basis is $250k ($100k capital contribution + $150k profit). My basis is lowered by $200k via distributions ($100k is return of capital, and $100k is from my retained earnings). Correct way (imo): i.imgur.com/sQWnVcp.jpg wrong way: i.imgur.com/4vFz4TA.jpg Question: Am I understanding this correctly?
My prof did not give any details ,just put a ppt on the modules.all are outlines of the text ,no any help. This video is real class .Very good video.
Would you share the ppts of all modules with me, please?
Are there any videos of other missing chapters? Your videos are golden. You help make it easy to understand and summarize a rather dry textbook. Thank you
Hello... I want to learn how to calculate corporate and partnership returns.... Please advise how to proceed
I am in Atlanta taking a taxation courses at Kennesaw State University. Just thought I would let you know I watched your videos to help lectures and book text settle in. You are a great lecturer, really helping me for my upcoming exam!
Outstanding video but first 15 or so minutes are incorrect. Taxes do not fund the federal government. Government creates money, spends it and taxes some of it away.
That's hilarious - We know what happens when governments do that! There's a very fast economic collapse. History educates us economists and accountants well. We can trace and reconcile government spending - that's what the experts do. Our current government has pushed through some very sketchy actions however, which is why there's much concern from people who understand economic policy.
@@businessfinancecoach Not sure what history you're talking about. Fed created this year trillions of dollars without any tax increases, as it did in 2008-9. Where is the inflation?
You are indeed correct that the government obtains funds through the issuance of debt securities; however, tax revenues are also a component of government spending.
Very resourceful! Thank you so much.
Thank you!
Life saver!!
