My nomad won’t go past 80 mph is there a speed limiter on it??

I know this is a couple years old now but hanging in the blind spot of that truck at 5:00 is a real bad joo joo.

I have a 1600 Nomad and a 1600 Classic. I know these bike very well and I would say based on what I’m hearing that the idle on this bike is way too low. Idle speed should be about 950 RPM’s. This sounds like the idle speed is about 200 RPM’s too slow.

Friend has one rode it love the heated seat. I have 3 motorcycles this one separates you from the MC experience. Big front end not a lot of sport. Just my opinion when I let my friend ride my FZ 07 he doesn't want to trade back.

I just bought a 2008 this last summer. Just last week had an open road on interstate (no vehicles to pass), I hit 127 per GPS and was not at full throttle. I've been at 120 a few times. Have an 80 mile ride each way to work; very few days don't hit triple digits 2-3 times. There was no wobbling at all. My wife and I had a 2003 years ago. We hit 138 back then and no wobble. If you have wobble, there is something not right with the GL1800. Lewis
