I have a painted white brick fireplace in my kitchen nook. I'm painting ours black. My husband thinks the black is not good but what does he know, ha, ha. You did a good job. It looks fabulous!!

At 17:12, I can see that one of your closet shelves is taller than the other shelves. What did you do to get that extra height? Did you add something to the top of the bookcase?

Get yourself a microfiber cloth for the fingerprints, Norwex window cloth would be perfect for that. When you spray stuff on it you create a film which will increase the fingerprints.

Really helpful, thanks for sharing. I prefer the light bars you use behind the monitor instead of the LED strips a lot of people use - I don't need racing neon colours, just a warm ambient back light and these are perfect. Going to order myself some today!

I’ve done my one closet a year ago with the ikea bookshelves and they came with the top hinges to drill into the wall. Does the target bookshelves not come with it? If not where can I purchase the hinges from?

Not sure if you shared in another comment. For the longer shelf (one that can accommodate long dresses) what is that one/where did you purchase? Can’t assemble the target shelves without that added piece but now that I’ve started our process, 🤦🏽‍♂️ there’s no where for my wife to hang her dresses😂😂😂.

This was an awesome tutorial thank you soooo much.

For those who dont wanna screw into wall get a 1x4 piece of wood the length you need , or 1.5 x 4 . if you got carpet. and put it acrosss the front so the shelved are leaning back. its probably leaning about 10 degrees. which is enough to offset forward weight. I used this on a book shelf i got from office depot. i have it in my closet, no woobles . cause its leaning where i want it to.
