Best qb ever. Could run the ball could throw the ball. He also punted out of the shotgun on 4th and 5 and give the other team bad field position. He could also run as a receiver and catch balls. If he was 23yrs old in 2023 he would have blew all records away. Probably wouldn't have missed a game either cause you cant hit QBs like in the 80s 90s .. the whole thing was dan Reeves run the ball till theres 5min left in the game and be down by 6pts then tell elway go do your thing. Elway would save Reeves but all the time. Remember elway never had a 1000yrd running back until Terrell davis and still took his team to 3 superbowls that he never should've been there .. he didnt have roger Craig, emmit smith, . If elway would have had Edgar Bennett he may have been able to win one if those 3sb. All superbowl winning teams have a 1000yrd to 2000yrd running back on there team.. he almost beat the giants and that's cause he ran and passed in that Superbowl. It goes to show how great he was when he got terrel davis he set a record for most wins in 3years. That shows how much of a leader he was. He lost what 8games in 3yrs including the playoffs and back to back Superbowl wins.. the falcons said davis aint going to beat us like he did greenbay. They shut davis down at 96yrds rushing. But elway passed for 336 yrds and ran for a touchdown to. His stats would be way up there if he played in the 2000s or at least had shannahan for his whole career. Reeves is the one to blame run the ball with a running back thatcant get 1000yrds in a season and expect elway to make up for it

I have such happy memories of this team. Nobody gave the Broncos a shot against Carolina and the panthers got steamrolled. Cam was supposed too be super man. The problem is we had his kryptonite in Von Freaking Miller

Hell, I remember the Broncos from the 1960s when all the other kids in school were laughing at me. I also remember 5 super bowl defeats. For these guys to win this one on top of the previous two was just awesome. Go Broncos!!!

Commentator: Greatest disparity in Super Bowl History Broncos Fan: Can't be worse than 48. WE have to actually try to be worse. But seriously, something never pointed out is we only broke 30 points once, by one, and every game but four was by one possession. Denver's defense was the best, and they didn't face the Panthers in the regular season, so saying that the Number One Offense would coast through unchecked was absurd. Same thing with New England, you know a team we beat earlier on in the regular season.
