Liked you video though recently I decided to go for an r56 2.0 cooper sd for the fun and the top end torque and power when I get it remapped along with better mpg. Currently getting 48-50 around town sometimes a bit more

I have the r61 model, when you changed your downpipes did you get it tuned? I changed mine and it has an a error code with the o2 sensor before catlytic.

Just got myself a 2015 cooper s coupe with 70k miles. I waisted no time to modify the crap out of it. I got a cold air intake, high flow downpipe bigger intercooler waiting for my coilovers I ordered, and it has a stage2 tune. The guy I take my car to says that it makes about 280hp. Honestly, it feels more like 300hp. I want to get a bigger turbo, but he advised against it, saying it's too much for my motor to handle. I'm going to get a second opinion.

ive had a few instances where the rear has been thrown out on my jcw. mostly think it was road condition tho. and then one time when braking from 120mph but when i was low speed again it kinda threw out a little. (was a car going 20mph up ahead. and we were 5 cars doing about 120 at the time.)

Nice vid! sounds great also! I drive a R55 S 2011 with a 215hp remap. Feels like a little rocket. It's also mapped to run at cooler engine temps. This will help a lot with some of the issues they are known for, because these engines run HOT. like 215-225F (102-107C) factory. Mine runs between 194-203F (90-95C) now. Keeps oil temps down, but also al the plastic auxiliary parts don't get that hot. Still waiting for mine to break down though. It has 135.000km (84.000mls). Does like to consume oil, but not at the rates I read everywhere. its around 1L per 4000-5000km or 1qt per 2500-3000 miles. Which apparently is very acceptable for these engines. I would however have a heartattack seeing all those lit up warning lights. Like you have them all: Service lights, Tire pressure light, Brakes I believe, Check engine... 😅
