Very informative and helpful for people, great advice and great work, thanks mate !
Do you buy antique Mac 10 chain saws in mint shape?
as an owner of one of these, i can confirm it is a thousand times easier to just put the saw on the ground and start it
yeah man that is my primary problem too, and overheating issue too, i need get one of this 4-stroke chainsaw beast
So I see you have this carburetor (duke's)and an echo carburetor on your website. The echo looks to be adjustable too but is twice the price of the duke's. Which one do you recommend to go with the rest of these upgrades?
@@brent2455 most guys have been buying The Duke's with good success!
@TraverseCreekInc is the echo you have on the website just the stock one from factory?
What fuel mixture do you recommend using in the 090? Can I run synthetic 50:1 fuel mixture in a saw that old?
Seems like it's running poorly after your mods. This saw from factory is greatz all this crap you did is just nonsense.
Well, that's just like your opinion man
It’s amazing you can tell all that from a UA-cam video!
@@TraverseCreekIncthis isn’t Nam there are rules

The CS 620 has become my main saw because of the ergonomics, great power, and rugged durability of a Pro level Saw. The 7310 is too heavy for the terrain I operate on, so it has become a landing saw...lol. The 620 is a Pro Saw, not a Rancher Class.
👍🆙Duke

What a load of 💩, I've 2 echo cs3700es and both of them are plastic crankcases.. They're both pro saws.. Must compare like for like
Are there anything for the 4510
On the air filter kit - anyone know the actual o-ring number for the small upper ring? My shop has managed to lose two of them so far. I know I can buy an assortment, etc., etc., I’d just like to know the real number (Danco, ISO, whatever).
It’s a #008 (AS568 standard).
I have a pro Mac 10-10 with a 20-in bar and wondering if it would handle a 28-inch bar as far as power goes? Or is there an advantage to having a 20-inch bar versus the longer bar? Also I was wondering, mine takes about 10 pulls to start it when cold, why so many pulls and can something be done about that? Always runs great after I get it going.
😮😮
All i hear is a wimp complaining about everything lol. Oh Echo trimmers? That explains it. Why don't you actually use the chainsaw? Instead of bashing it. It's just a cheap chainsaw. It doesn't have to be perfect in every single detail. Quit whining and complaining 🤣 and do something man. I've had a Senix 4 stroke chainsaw for 3 years. I'm a good mechanic for anything but. It's never needed much of anything done to it. I've cut so much it's not even funny. More than logging companies around here do. It just keeps running great, cutting great. Goes through bars and chains fast though. Uses a lot of fuel. But? It does great for me. I love Stihl but this Senix is worth the cheap price to me. But that's me, we all have our opinions and experiences.
Read the pinned comment, ya knucklehead!
@@TraverseCreekInc What does that have to do with anything? You're the one complaining like a child. Let me guess a Stihl and Husqvarna is junk to you too? Probably. An actual good mechanic can work on anything lol. Not complain about it and then send someone away. You must be ignorant? A lot of people are.
@@TraverseCreekInc yeah just delete my reply 🤣 what a whiny little wimp. It's obvious you are just ignorant.
288s are great.
Ha ha if these are all you have to pick from, choose a well made ax. The ax will last a couple of lifetimes
Lol they put VTEC on a chainsaw
You mentioned something about the 620 oiling better on side. I am using a 600P as a alaska style mill and am replacing my oiler today. Can I expect more issues with the oiler, any ideas on how to mitigate?
I’d like to know whether or not the metal washer is stainless steel. That would be a good detail to put on the web site.
I have this bad boy. Saw had been sitting since about 2008, put fresh gas in and it fired right up. Can you still get air filters for these saws? Also a couple other parts missing off of it like the bumper spike. I need to repaint the handle and the top, looks like the original manual recommended 25:1, do you recommend the same?
Thanks for this. I bought a Husky 455 last year, used it a fair bit and sold it in the fall. Just to cheaply built and underpowered for my liking. I have been considering the Echo 590, so this video is extremely timely. You have convinced me the 620 is the way to go. One big plus for the Echo saws is the ability to manually adjust the carburetor as opposed to the Husqvarna auto tune. Are Echo chainsaws still made in Japan or like everything else are they made in China now?
Husqvarna 455 still has regular adjustable carb. Most of the 5xx series has autotune. Honestly, the autotune systems work great. Lazy mechanics and misinformed guys typically blame autotune for every problem a saw would have. 99% of the time they aren't related. I really like and prefer the autotune, and that's coming from a guy who knows how/has the tools to adjust. Echo manufacturing and assembly is typically in Japan or USA. I believe the 620s are all Japan.
Husqavarna 288xp 💪💪💪💪💪💪
that exhaust deflector looks like a real nice piece!
Everyone who buys em likes em! Solid piece
Great video!
Thanks!
Can you rebuild a carburetor for me it's Tillotson on a jonsered 49sp, Jack
Was wondering about the .325 chain you sell, I need some for my 550xp and it uses .325 narrow-kerf, well I know that's different than regular 325 so what's the width of the cutter-path on the 325 chain that's .050 72dl? Is it gonna be suitable for the speedcut bar and 550xp application? Or is it closer to regular 325 chain that's non-nk? Guess I'll find out how it works as I just placed an order. I have tried the 3/8 chain on my 572xp and I really like it.. every bit as good as Husqvarna x-cut at half the price, stays sharp for awhile too
Shared on the CS590 FB group. Excellent video. 👍
Thanks!
@@TraverseCreekInc Yer welcome.
Do any of those parts that you show fit a 4910/501
No, we have a deflector available for the 490/4910/501p, though.
😎
What's up!
Thank you for the detailed review which helped with my decision. Echo 620p.
Dude is a legend
Not trying to troll but id be wearing some kind of eye protection.
Heat gun , some Diggin and change bad Diode. Than it runs like new!
I have a jonsered 45cm, is very old but I don't know, how old is.
Japanese manufacturing is meticulous. The cs 620p is a powerhouse. Easy starts. I like the carburetor has high speed and low speed jets, simple. This guy is telling it straight.
Are those factory new ones or are those rest stock piles of thees older models? Would you ship the 288 international?
I want, want, want one.... ...but I got no use for it dammit. Can I get one anyway?
How much would a good used saw cost me for purchase Sir ?? Thanks
that thing fucking sucks man
Can you take custom orders for a smaller 12 inch bar?
believe it was ....like going from a horse and carriage to a Bentley.
Awesome saw, but I'm concerned that a mechanic can't change a battery in a smoke detector 😂🤦
Ive got a 24" bar on a 620. This thing rips great for felling ans bucking. I have a 355t for delimbing and cutting smaller stuff. Its nice having a both a big and small saw.
Informative 🤠
Good morning, could you tell me the specifications of the starter? (the measurements mainly) because they recommended that I could put one on mcculloch pro mac 105
Yes. Would have been better to see the saws..
Is there a 9-10
Yeah 🤣 lets push the chainsaw as hard as we can into the log and expect it not to stall. Okay.
Where can I order one of these. Looks nice and of high quality. Do they have a website thanks
